Subject: [PW!] A New Year (Of Training Pokemon)

Last Time, Mac woke up on New Years day, and made a resolution to do something
about his grudge with Team Rocket. He then went to the windows to look at the
fireworks.
-------------
Forest got up the next day, New Years day, to find Mac sitting at the
window. He was staring out the window, and didn't seem to notice that Forest
had woken up.
Forest quickly looked around the hotel room to check on Space, and he
found that it was sleeping on top of Porygon, who was sleeping on the
nighttable between Forest's bed and Mac's bed. It was snoring loudly.
The Diglett that had decided to follow Mac was sleeping in Mac's bed, with
the covers covering the parts of the Diglett that were not usually visable
above the surface.
Forest eventually got out of bed, and took his day clothes into the
bathroom and got changed out of his night clothes, and into his day clothes.
When he got out of the bathroom, Mac was still staring out the window. He had
not noticed that Forest had gotten up until he taqpped Mac on the back.
-------------
A few hours later, Forest, Mac, Porygon, Space, and the new Diglett walked
to the outskirts of Viridian City, where it was said that low level Pokemon
lived. Forest was hoping to have Space gain a few levels of experience by
battling the low level Pokemon.
It was Porygon who broke the silence between the two humans and group of
Pokemon.
<> Porygon cried, jumping onto Mac's
head, where it waited for him to respond. When he just ignored the Pokemon,
Porygon continued, <>
"You better not," Mac warned him, speaking for one of the first times that
day. "I'll sooner disown you than have you blow up other building. We're
already in trouble in Celadon City for that!"
<> Porygon cried, floating over to Mac and giving him
the closest thing it could get to a hug. <> It stared up at Mac, giving him big, puppy dog eyes.
Mac sighed, and continued walking. After a few moments, he pointed out
that the area they were in seemed like a good place to train Space.
Forest nodded, and took Space off of his head, where it had been perched
as they walked and gently put her on the ground. He then started walking around
looking for a weak Pokemon for Space to battle.
Mac, meanwhile, turned to Porygon and Diglett, who were sitting side by
side, staring at him.
"What?" He asked them, "Why do you keep looking me?"
Diglett opened its mouth to speak. <>
"That's a lot of help," Mac sighed.
As they were talking, a few feet from them, Space found its first
opponent. It was a Rattata, which Forest's Pokedex that he rarely used
confirmed that it was level 2, one level below Space.
