From: Josh <diane@magicnet.net> Subject: [PW!] Battling the Sisters of Cerulean City Gym Date: Friday, February 25, 2000 8:48 PM -Battling The Sisters of Cerulean City Gym-Episode 07 Zane, Matt, & Pikachu, who just came from Mt. Moon, first stopped at the Pokemon Center when they arrived in Cerulean City. It was dark out by the time they got to the Pokemon Center, so they decided to spend the night their. They each took showers, and in the morning, went to get something to eat. They sat down in a local diner, and each ordered their food. Zane found it extremely hard to eat with only one arm, since his other one is broken. As they eat, they began to ask each other questions. "Where are you from?" Zane asked. "Pewter City," Matt replied, "I was in Mt. Moon looking for people to challenge so that my Pokemon would get stronger." "How many Pokemon do you have?" Zane asked. "Lets see.I have my Eevee, Pidgeot, and my Koffing. I've had my Eevee and my Pidgeot for a couple years now, I just recently caught Koffing," Matt said, "I don't go around looking for Pokemon though, if I see one, I'll try to catch it." It got silent for a little while, while they finished their food. "Are you going to challenge the Gym Leader here?" Matt asked. "Yeah, I'm gonna head over their now." They both got up from their table, paid the bill, then left and headed for the Cerulean City Gym. The Gym was on the other side of the city, so it wasn't a short walk. When they arrived at the Gym, they saw many people walking in and out of it. Zane walked up the one of the people and asked them what was going on. They told him that there was a show being performed here. Zane, wondering what could be going on, decided to go in. They went inside and took a seat. They saw three young girls, whose names they heard from all the screaming boys. Their names were Daisy, Lilly, & Violet and they were the Cerulean City Gym Leaders. It surprised Zane to see that they were the Gym Leaders. The three girls started to perform their play, and all Zane, Matt, & Pikachu could do was wait till they were done. After the performance, Zane confronted the girls. "Are you the Gym Leaders?" he asked. "We are," Lilly said. "Then I challege you to a match," Zane said. "Well.ok," she replied. They walked over to the Gym floor and stood at opposite ends. "Ready," she asked Zane. "Yeah," he replied. "This will be a three on three," she said, "Go Goldeen." Goldeen was released into the Gym pool. "Alright, go Zubat," Zane said as he released his Zubat from the Pokeball. Goldeen, use your Fury Attack," Lilly replied. Goldeen dove into the pool, and flew into the air, trying to hit Zubat, who evaded all the attacks. "Zubat, use your Supersonic attack," Zane said. Zubat used it's Supersonic attack and confused Goldeen, which had to be recalled because of it. "Now I'll choose Seaking," Lilly says. She releases her Seaking into the pool, right below the Zubat. "Seaking, use your Waterfall attack," Lilly said. Seaking looked up at Zubat, and a waterfall all of a sudden hits Zubat, making him fall into the water. Zane recalled Zubat before Seaking could attack him in the water. "Go, Bulbasaur," Zane said as he released his Pokemon onto the stand in the water. "Bulbasaur, use your Leech Seed," Zane said. Bulbasaur started firing seeds at Seaking, who was dodging them. After the fourth or fifth seed, Bulbasaur hit him. The seed started to suck up Seaking's energy. "Now Bulbasaur, finish him off with a Vine Whip," Zane said as he pointed at Seaking with his arm. Bulbasaur used it's two vines to whip Seaking, defeating him. "You're getting lucky," Lilly said as she recalled Seaking, "But your luck ends here.Go Dewgong." Zane became silent because she never threw the Pokeball. "Where is he?" Zane asked. "He's in the water," Lilly replied. Zane looked into the water and saw the Dewgong. "He doesn't stay in a Pokeball," Lilly said, "He stays in the aquarium." "Dewgong, use your Take Down attack," Lilly said. Dewgong charged through the water, too fast for Bulbasaur to see, and hit Bulbasaur right into the water. Zane had no choice but to recall Bulbasaur. "Alright Pikachu, you're my last hope," Zane said nervously. "Dewgong, use your Aurora Beam to finish him off," Lilly said. A colorful beam of light heads straight for Pikachu. The beam missed him, but it was enough to knock him into the water. "Headbutt him while he's in the water," Lilly demanded. Dewgong charged right at Pikachu ready to hit him. "Pikachu, cover all the water with your Thundershock," Zane said. When Dewgong was within feet from Pikachu, he was hit with the Thundershock. The Gym once again became silent, except for the noise of Pikachu slowly swimming back to the stand that he was knocked off of. Seconds passed until Dewgong rose to the top of the water unable to battle. Pikachu ran to Zane and jumped on his shoulder. Lilly, Daisy, and Violet then walked over to Zane. "Congratulations Zane," Violet said. "You're a good trainer," Daisy told him. "You deserve this Zane," Lilly said as she presented him with the Cascade Badge. Zane stuck out his hand and took the badge, which he pinned onto his vest. Zane, Matt, & Pikachu walked out of the gym and were headed for the Pokemon Center when Violet came out of the Gym and stopped them, "Hey Zane, do you know who Bill is?" she asked. "Bill.no. Never heard of him," Zane said. "You should go visit him," she said. Zane didn't want to be late for the S.S. Anne, but decided that he would go and visit Bill. They left the Gym and stopped at the Pokemon Center, then they headed to Bill's House.
