It took only one hour to get there. When they were heading towards Bill's, they were expecting him to live in a house. They arrived at Bill's and found out that he was living in a lighthouse. They walked up to the door of the Lighthouse and knocked. They heard the echo of the knock travel through the air. They waited for a few seconds, then they saw the door open. A man opened the door. "You must be Bill?" Matt asked. "Yes, I'm Bill. What can I do for you?" Bill asked. "We've heard a lot about you from the Cerulean City Gym Leaders," Matt said, " They told us that we should come and visit you." "Are you Pokemon trainers?" Bill asked. "Yes. I'm Matt, and this is my friend Zane and his Pikachu. Bill looked at Zane and Pikachu, then decided to let them in. They walked into the cold, dark lighthouse and were escorted by Bill to the top of the Lighthouse. "I've been studying Pokemon for a long time now," Bill said, "Studying Pokemon is the best thing that I've ever done.Do you enjoy catching and training Pokemon?" Both Zane and Matt nodded their heads yes. "That's good," Bill said, "The only advice I can really give you is to never give up and try your best." "Are you going onto the S.S. Anne?" Bill asked. ".Yeah, that's where were headed now," Zane said. "Then take this." Bill said as he handed him two tickets to get onto the ship. "Thanks a lot Bill," Matt said. As they were walking out of the lighthouse, they were stopped by Bill. "I'd also like to tell you about the dragon Pokemon, Dratini, Dragonair, and Dragonite. Their all very rare and very powerful. If you get one, make sure you train it the right way," Bill said. They were walking back towards Cerulean City, when they spotted an Abra. Zane was happy to see the Abra, and made Pikachu attack it. It wasn't hard to hurt since it was sleeping, so it was an easy capture. They reached Cerulean City and were headed to Vermilion City when Matt thought of an idea. "Come out Pidgeot," he said as he released his Pokemon. A giant bird came out of the Pokeball, standing taller then Zane. "Pidgeot, fly us to Vermilion City," Matt said. They both got on Pidgeot's back, and were flown to Vermilion City.
