"So your finally awake" Adam said "Yeah, what is the smell" "It's breakfast" Adam said "What is it" Michelle asked "French toast" "I love french toast" replied Michelle hungrily "Me too" "So you ordered from Room Service" Michelle wondered "Nope, made it myself" "This is really good" Michelle said after eating a slice "Thanks, I hoped you'd like it" "I do, but where did you learn to make it" "I got it from my dad" Adam answered "Is he one of those world famous chef's or something" "Nah, he just works in a pawn shop" "Oh" After breakfast they decided to go out and see if they could find another pokémon for Michelle. "We've been out here for two hours and not a single pokémon" Adam said stressing out "Maybe we've been searching in the wrong area" Michelle said "Possibly, but I want to get you a pokémon" Adam said concentrating on a bush "Thats so sweet" Michelle said but Adam did not hear "AH HA!!!" Adam said throwing a pokéball at the bush. A red light flashed behind a bush and then the shaking stopped. "Woo Hoo!!!" Adam shouted in glee "huh? You caught one" "Yeah!" Adam told Michelle excitedly Adam picked up the ball and recalled the new pokémon. "I wonder what it is" Michelle said wondering. When the pokémon was released a Persian appeared. "Wooo!!!" Michelle said "I take it you like Persian" "Very much so" "Cool" "I think I'll name it Princess" "Perrrrrr" Persian said purring at her new name. Adam gave the pokéball to Michelle and Michelle recalled Princess "We got to celebrate this" Adam declared. "How?" "Charizard! GO!!" Adam said calling out his Charizard Adam helped Michelle once again and then climbed up himself. "Charizard, fly us through the sky" <Chaaaarrrr!!!!!> Charizard yelled while taking off Charizard enjoyed going fast and high while flying and was really high off the ground. "Woah, Charizard. I think you need to fly a little lower" "CHAAAARRRRRIIZZAAARRRRDDD!!!!!!" partly ignoring Adam Adam was looking at his surroundings as they were zipping by "Too fast" Michelle had to scream while hanging on. Blue beams were flying past the Charizard. "What the..." Adam said trying to look at the ground. Adam finally got a fix on a trainer yelling Water Gun and Hydro Pump. "What are you trying to do, kill us" Adam yelled at the trainer but didn't get any response. "Charizard, get us out of here NOW!!!!" Adam commanded But it was too late the escape ended in failure. A direct hit from Hydro Pump hit the Charizard flame tail putting out the fire thus ending the Charizard's life. When the Charizard realized this he looked back at Adam as if too say I'm sorry but no sound came out of its mouth and with its last ounce of stregnth it tried to head towards an area where the safest landing was possible but it was too late. The Charizards body fell limp towards the earth. "Charizard, wake up" Adam cried trying to wake the Charizard up "It's too late Adam" Michelle yelled at Adam "NOOO!!!! It's not too late, there's always a chance" Adam said wiping a tear from his eye "Adam, what are we going to do" "I don't know, I don't know, I don't know" Adam kept repeating "Please think of something quick" Michelle screamed while holding onto Adam "All right, I gotta plan. Give me the pokéball with ponyta in it." "Do you think this will work" Michelle asked Adam handing him the ball "It better" "Ok" "Michelle grab ahold of me and don't let go" Michelle grabbed onto Adam for all her life and Adam pushed them away from the dead Charizard where they were in a free fall. "AAHHHHHHHH!!!!!" Michelle screamed "It's gonna be all right" Adam said trying to comfort her Adam was above to release Ponyta onto the ground when he fumbled the ball and the ball flew upwards. "SHIT!!!" Adam cried out "What is it" "I dropped the ball" "AHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Michelle screamed even louder than before. Adam noticed the pokball had gotten itself caught on the end of Michelles shoe string. He was about to grab when Michelle interupted him. "What is it" "LOOK!" Michelle said pointing at the ground. "OH SHIT!!!" Adam said out loud "What are we gonna do Adam" "We don't have much time so listen carefully" Adam said explaining the plan " I want you to grab on to the front of my shirt and hold on tight. I'll wrap my arms around you and my body should absorb most of the fall" "But won't you die" "That's a risk I'm going to take" "I can't let you do that" "I'm not giving you a choice Michelle" As Michelle grabbed onto Adam and Adam wrapped his arms around Michelle. Seconds seemed like minutes, minutes unto hours, hours to days, and days to years as the two teenagers plummited towards the earth. Adam and Michelle were staring into each others eyes as they knew that impact was growing nearer and nearer every second. But for them it seemed like an eternity to reach the ground. And then before they knew it...... "Michelle" "What" "I can't let you die" "What are you saying" "I don't know" Adam looked deeper into Michelle's eyes and screamed at the top of his lungs. Michelle then disappeared like Adam had done the previous day. Michelle reappeared and hit the ground with a slight thud. She quickly recovered and looked up into the sky to see Adam still falling. "Noooooooooooooooo!!!" Michelle screamed while running in the direction Adam was falling. -- 5 minutes later -- Adam had compacted himself into a ball to try the crash less painful. Michelle was running into a building which she thought Adam crashed into. She looked at the roof and saw a hole in it. She looked down to see Adam lying face down in a pool of water. "Ahhhh" Michelle gasped in horror. She pulled Adam out of the water a let all of his pokémon out of their balls. She just their craddeling his head on her knee's crying. Adam's Vaporeon, Hitmonchan, Arbok, Cubone, Rhyhorn and Mr. Mime were all staring wondering what was going on. "We were in a horrible accident" Michelle explained "How did you escape unharmed" Mr. Mime asked her "I don't know. He mentioned something about not letting me die. Then the next thing I know I'm on the ground" "Hmmm" Mr. Mime said pondering on what had happened. "HEY! YOU CAN'T JUST BARGE IN HERE!!!!" screamed a voice behind them "huh" Michelle said trying to ignore the voice "I said you just can't *gasp* what happened" She asked Michelle "We were knocked off our Charizard and fell" "How did you manage to not end up like him" "I can't explain it" "Anyway now is not the time to explain, we have got to get him to a hospital" "Agreed. By the way, what is that" "This is not that. This is Togepi, and I'm Misty" "You mean Gym Leader Misty" "Yep" "Let's go" Michelle urged Misty "I'm sorry but I can't go, my duties as leader here keep me from helping your friend there." "But where is..." Michelle started to say "Go South a block and then two blocks west from there. You can't miss it" "Thanks Misty" Michelle said running out the door while Adam was placed on top of Arbok which was resting on top of Rhyhorn. -- 5 hours later at the hospital -- "Is he going to be ok, doctor" Michelle asked "It's an absolute miracle in my opinion. At the rate you said you were falling his damages would of been much worse. But from what his damages are it seems as though he was slowing down." "huh" "It confuses me too, but that seems to be just what happened" "Can I stay here with him over night" Michelle asked "Normally I'd have to say no, but since we don't know anything about his family I guess you can stay for the night" "Thank you doctor" Michelle said half smiling "You should get some rest" The doctor said handing Michelle a blanket from the closet "I know, but I'm worried about him" "By his luck he should be fine soon enough" The doctor said trying to comfort her -- Adam's Dream -- "What the.... where am I?" Adam said looking at the darkness all around. A small plant pokémon walked towards Adam "Wow! Whats's an oddish doing in my dreams" <Your only half right on that guess friend> "What's going on" Adam asked <Your in a limbo type dream land, it happens to those who've had a near death experience that I choose to visit> "Are you here to tell me that my time is up" <On the contrary Adam, I'm here to tell you that you've gotten another chance due your bravery while saving Michelle. Oh and speaking of time. Did you know time travels faster in the real world then in the dream world. > "No I didn't know that and how do you know our names" < I know alot more than that > "Will you tell me" < Nope > "That's what I thought" < Anyway, I better be going now, I've got a schedule to keep to > "Whats your name" < You can call me Goddish > "You mean THE weediety" < The very same. Oh and Adam > "Yes" < WAKE UP!!! > Adam sat straight up on the hospital bed waking Michelle up who had fell asleep with her head resting on Adam's chest. "Adam" Michelle said suprisingly happy "I had the strangest dream" "What was it" "I dreamt about an Oddish named Goddish" "Well your allright now, your with me know." "Why does my body hurt so much" "You fell through a roof, remember" Michelle said trying to help Adam remember "Oh yeah. Anyway I'm so tired, I'm gonna head and go back to sleep" "Ok Adam, you need your rest anyway" Adam moved over as far as could on the bed and invited Michelle to sleep on it. "Nah, I couldn't" "It'd be more comfortable than the floor" "But the bed is kinda small" "I don't mind" "Your mind better not be in the gutter Adam" "It's not" Adam said trying to smile or anything "All right then I guess I'll accept your offer" Michelle hopped onto the hospital bed and quickly fell asleep. Adam sat there amazed at how cute she looked in her sleep.
