"Bob," said the reporter's cameraman, "This is just not your week.

Well, maybe....
Inside the Pokemon Center, Sarah Jane paced the waiting room. If Sarah
Jane wasn't so upset at the situation, her pacing would have been very
comical. Shields mimed his owner as she paced. Spunky trailed after
Shields, thinking this was part of a game. As did Pteryx, who hopped
along trying to grab Spunky's tail. Cuddles took up the rear, making
sure no one grabbed or stepped on the baby Aerodactyl. Several other
trainers waited anxiously for their injured Pokemon. Jon and Christy
sat at one of the tables. Sarah Jane's grandfather, one of the
country's leading authorities on Krabbys and Kinglers, was in with
Nipper. Her grandmother was fending off reporters at the entrance,
along with a host of Officer Jennys. A lot of trainers had been
complaining about the reporters.
Most of Sarah Jane's pokemon were already doing better, except Nipper
and Stonewall. The Rhydon had done quite a bit of damage to
them. "Those Pokemon should never have been allowed on the field,"
said Sarah Jane as she paced past the table. "He only had 3 of them
under control. With the exception of her Charizard, even _Candi_ has
better control of her Pokemon."
"That's harsh," said Christy.
"But true," said Jon. "To get his Nidoking to attack, he had to tell
it that the Alakazam was challenging him for some sort of throne. Good
thing Sigfreid can teleport. And there was also that whacked out
Gengar with the guitar.... the judges should never have allowed that."
"That Dragonite was awful....," interjected Sarah Jane on her next pass
by. "Drake should teach him a thing or 2. And that.... that...."
"NI!" yelped Spunky. Sarah Jane turned around to find Pteryx had
grabbed Spunky's tail with her mouth.
"Pteryx, NO!" reprimanded Sarah Jane sternly as she made Pteryx release
the tail and picked her up. "Bad girl!"
"AWK?" asked Pteryx.
"It's not a toy. Its part of Spunky," said Sarah Jane.
"You should have done that with Cuddles and Spunky," said Jon with a
laugh. "It would have helped Drake's poor tail...."
"I'm going to make sure my babies turn out properly," said Sarah
Jane. "Especially after what I saw today."
"You better sit down," said Christy. "You're going to wear yourself
out."
"I can't help it... I'm so worried about Nipper and Stonewall.... I
don't know if they'll make it...." said Sarah Jane as tears rolled
down her face. Pteryx saw her adoptive mother was upset and cuddled
against her, almost apologizing for her earlier actions. Cuddles came
over and rubbed against Sarah Jane's leg. Spunky licked his sore
tail. "I'm so afraid of losing them..."
