The Mew sweatdropped. It quickly displaced itself a few feet away to avoid becoming part of some random person's snack. At first, it thought it overshot: where before the overwhelming smell was of hot dairy product, now it looked like an ice cave. "And a soda." Blink. A meat packing...? "A couple of hot dogs." Blink. "Your order is..." Safe, now. Open air. "Here's your change. Have a good day." *thunk* "Mewww..." The clerk looked, looked away, then looked back as the revelation took. A Mew was trying to pull its tail out of his cash register. He had caught a Mew! Ok, it wasn't a pokeball, but maybe this would count? "MEW!" #Apparently not,# the clerk thought as he took in the scenery on a telekinetic ballistic flight through the mall. ****** The flight was too quick to terrify - and something absorbed his impact. When he looked up, Maria was looking down at him with concern; murmurs and wide eyes spread through the crowd beyond. "Uhh, sorry about that." Maria looked at the ground, then at her arm. The clerk blinked. Was he sitting on some- Hooked to Maria's arm was a severed arm, trailing pink ooze down to the ground where it formed a large puddle under the clerk. "OHMIGODDISH!" The clerk bolted upright, quickly wiping the stuff off his rear. "I...I'm so sorry..." Maria looked him in the eye, and smiled like a predator. He stepped away in dawning fear. "I...now, hold on, I said I'm sorry...k-killing me won't bring back..." The puddle bubbled and reformed, slowly oozing its way back into a humanoid shape. One particular humanoid shape. The clerk fainted, as did some of the onlookers. Mimic - now in the shape of the clerk - blinked twice. "Mimic think Mimic broke him." Maria shook her head and dragged him away before any authorities could show up. TBC?
