Last time, Trunks and Meeko returned to the League Games, while Kelly and Nicky stayed behind. " We're back!" Meeko said to Lewis, Mike, and Bridget. " Who's this?" Lewis asked, pointing towards Trunks. " This is Trunks, I battled him in the first round, remember?" " Oh yeah." " Trunks, Lewis. Lewis, Trunks. Trunks, Mike. Mike, Trunks. Trunks, Bridget. Bridget, Trunks. Vegeta..." " Meeko...you don't really need to do that much introductions...^_^;;" " Oh, heh heh ^_^;;" then Meeko remembered something, " Guys, Insane's brother is dead, and he's currently headed back to his ranch for a while. Kelly is staying behind to see her family, and Nicky is staying with her." " ( Nicky and Kelly sittin' in a tree...K...I...S...S...OWWWW!!! )" Ivysore found several shoes in his face. " Die under the wrath of...ag! I'm saying the same thing that plant pot says!" Lewis yelled. " ( Hahaha... )" Vegeta rolled over, crying from laughing so hard. " Trainer Meeko: Will you please come up to the sign in desk. Thank you." a woman said over the P.A. " Ok, see you guys at the battle!" Meeko ran off, her Pokémon in tow. At the sign in desk, " Please, fish for a Magikarp to find who you will be battling." the lady said. " Alright...shouldn't take long at all..." Meeko said, putting in the hook. An hour later, Meeko has fallen asleep by now and Ivysore's just plain tired. " ( Die!!! )" Ivysore leapt in and grabbed the first karp he saw, flopping it into the lady's face. Meeko woke up after getting wet. " Your opponent is..." a screen came up showing her opponent, " Amber." " Hm...I think Mike battled her, but I can't remember...oh well." At the battle arena, " AAAAAAAAAAND today folks this battle will decide who is to move on to possible becoming a MAAAAAAASTEEEEER!!!" the announcer said. Meeko shook like a leaf. " If I loose this match...it'll be a long time before I can finally become a Master..." Meeko said. She stepped onto her side of the arena. The flag guy signaled and they started the match. " You ready to rumbaaaaa?" Amber asked. " Sure, let's get it on!" Meeko pointed to Lifesaver, " Knock them dead." " Ha! Aerodactyl!!!" she yelled, Meeko's mouth dropped. " Poison Sting!" " Wing Attack!" they commanded. Meeko's Beedrill didn't stand a chance as he flew into a wall. " Let's see...Aerodactyl is part Rock...so Water has the advantage! Kingler! You're on!" Kingler side stepped into the field. " It looks like Meeko is planning on using a Water type to defeat Aerodactyl!" " Kingler, Water Gun!!!" but Aerodactyl flew up high! " Hahahaha! Aerodactyl has flying abilities as well as Rock, give up now little girl, or go home as ground meat!" " Hey! I don't have a home to go home to! So shut up and battle!" Meeko snapped back. " I'm sorry..." Amber said. " Kingler! Try a Vice Grip!" she yelled, then said, " If you can reach that Rock bird..." " Aerodactyl! Ram into it!!!" Aerodactyl rammed into Kingler before anything could be done. " Jigglypuff! Maybe your Sing will stop it!" Jigglypuff hopped onto the field. " JIIIIIGGGGLLLYYYYYYY...." Jigglypuff's song made the flying Aerodactyl very, very tired... " Jigglypuff!!!!" Meeko yelled as Aerodactyl came down at her, asleep, but Jigglypuff was paralyzed, with fear. Suddenly a figure leapt into Jigglypuff and pushed her aside. Dust came up and when it cleared...there was no Meeko! The crowd gasped. But then, underneath his wing, came Meeko! " This is amazing! Meeko risked her life to save Jigglypuff! But because it would faint otherwise, it is officially out of the match!!!" " Ok..." " Go...Onix!!!" " Gwrrrrraaaaaa!!!" it said. " Ivysore! Do it!" Ivysore leapt out and Vegeta cheered loudly from the crowd. " Onix! Use Rock Throw!" a rock came out of it's huge mouth and rolled right at Ivysore! " Vine Whip!!!" the Vine Whip cracked the rock in half, Ivysore then leapt up it's rocky back and used Stun Spore! " Ivysore! Finish him off with Vine Whip!!!" Onix fainted. " Diglett! Go!" her third Pokémon was a Diglett! " Ivysore: Razor Leaf!" but the leaves missed as Diglett went underground. Sudden, the ground shook and a deep fissure appeared underneath Ivysore, he was about to fall in until Magnet caught him with one of his magnets. " Hm...Caterpie, go!" Caterpie crept out, he loved being the center of attention. " Cater ^_^" " Ok, Caterpie, Skunk Spray!" ( yes, it is a legal move. It was a move they added in Yellow, at least that's what I've heard ) the smell got to Diglett. " Dig...lett..." Diglett fell over. " Co'mon Diglett! Get back up!" Diglett obeyed, but found itself covered in silk. " Amber is down to her last Pokémon! What will she choose next?" " Probably a Ground or Rock..." Meeko said, but was surprised when a giant Blastoise came out. " A Blastoise! Wow! A surprise tactic!" the announcer yelled. " Caterpie, come back!" Caterpie did so, and Meeko thought to herself, " Ah! I guess it's time to fight fire with fire! Squirtle, you're on!" but then it occurred to her, " I've never used him before! What are his attacks?" her PokéDex spoke up. " Attacks are: Ice Beam, Water Gun, Bubble, and Withdraw." " Neat, Squirtle, Ice Beam!!!" but Blastoise reacted by dodging it. " Again!" but this time, Blastoise rammed into it. " Ha! Betcha didn't know he knows Skull Bash!!!" Amber yelled. " Oh yeah, Squirtle, ICE BEAM! ONE MORE TIME!!" this time, it hit it's target, and the Blastoise iced over. " MEEKO IS THE WINNER!!!" the crowd went wild and Lewis, Mike, Bridget, and Trunks leapt down to her. Her Pokémon also gathered around. " Squirt?" it asked, as it started to glow... " War! Tortle tort!" it yelled. " Hm...I barely ever have used you, or talked to you. I wonder, are you a girl or boy?" once again, her PokéDex spoke up. " This Wartortle is female." " Okay then, it's about time I named all my Pokémon...your name will Tiffany...Tiffany, you like that?" " Wartortle tort!" TBC Caterpie's Jukebox!
