Yelled just about everyone in the neibourghood as Nik walked in the door of his apartment. "What's all this?" he asked looking stunned. "Just your biggest birthday yet!" said Nik's closest friend Greg. "Wow! I don't know what to say...only that my birthday was last month..." And as he said that, everyone in the room looked at each other and started to laugh. "As long as we're all here," said Nik's father, Al "And all these presents are here too, this will be your VERY belated party!" "I guess it would be okay, let's party!" He said and went to take off his black leather jacket he got on his real birthday. All of his friends were there, some of his family too, and in the corner just by the window he could see a lot of presents with happy birthday wrapping paper on them. "Ahh..." Greg said as he came up to stand beside Nik, "Wondering what's in those presents over there? Why don't you go open them!" "Now?" he replied "Yeah sure! Don't want to wait too long do you?" And with that, Greg went to get everyones attention for Nik to open the presents. Nik sat down in the chair and opened the first present from his cousin Jen. It was a nice picture taken in front of the entrance of the Safari Zone about a year ago with him, Jen and Greg. It had a wood frame around it and was blown up to fit on his wall. "Thanks Jen! This is great!" and he put it beside him to put it up later. Half an hour and 14 presents later he came down to the last one. It was from Greg. It was a large box that he could barley fit on his lap. "What's in this?" asked Nik, "Open it!" said Greg. So he took off the wrapping paper and opened the box. Everyone looked to see what it was, Nik looked inside and saw it. Everyone started to laugh and Greg stood there with a big smile on his face. It was another box. So, Nik opened that box and everyone laughed again. It was another box. There was about 15 boxes in all when he came to the last one. he opened this one and there was a Pokéball inside it. The Pokéball had some sort of carving on it. He opened up the Pokéball and with a flash of light the room lit up and saw what was inside. Standing at about 1 meter high, was a small brownish golden Abra. "I...It...It's...an..Abra!" Nik tried to say while staring at the short little thing as it lloked right back up at him. After a while of everybody being quiet, the Abra went over and hugged Nik. Then, headed towards the kitchen. Nik got up and followed it. So did Greg, and just about everybody else. It tried to reach the fridge, so Nik went over and opened it for him. It looked in there and got out a half full glass of milk and started to drink it. "He likes milk! Are they supossed to like milk?" asked Nik still staring at it. Greg said, "Don't worry about it...it'll eat what it wants! Happy birthday man." "But what's this thing on the ball?" Nik said as he held it up. "I don't really know. The guy who sold it to me didn't know either." Replied Greg. "Oh, well, thanks Greg! Thanks a lot! I'm gonna really like this Abra!" K5 TILL i DIE!
