"Where-where am I? Who are you?" she asked. She was still a little knocked out. Jessie and Nick came running up to her. Sarah got to her feet and hugged Nick as sharp sensations of pain swerved up her spine. "You OK, Sarah?" he struggled to ask. Sarah used all of he strength hugging Nick, and she fell to her knees. Nick picked her up and left. Jessie was very stressed. Shikaku slowly walked up to her, waiting for her to say something. "So where's Josh?" she asked, without even turning to Shikaku. He thought a 'Thanks' or 'Good Job' was appropriate, but he didn't ask for it. "I left him down in the basement. I got him in the back with my katana." He said as he cleaned his bloddy sword with a cloth. Jessie paused for a moment and suddenly turned to Shikaku. She had a surprising worried look. "What-" she said. Jessie then ran down the stairs to the basement. "Where is he?!?" she yelled back to Shikaku. The pumps that were operating forced them to yell. Shikaku ran down to Jessie. "Follow me!! He's around here somewhere!!" Shikaku looked around for a few minutes. He found nobody. "Aye...where is he!!" Jessie stopped following Shikaku as she found a pipe leaking water from the ceiling. She looked down. Jessie saw the steaming hot water drip down into a puddle of red blood. "Oh my-" Jessie started too say as Shikaku walked up to the puddle. "This is were I left him!! Dammit...where is he?!?" As he said that, the door shut on them. It had to be Josh escaping. Luckly, Josh didn't lock the door. Shikaku and Jessie ran out onto the deck, but Josh was gone. Shikaku started to curse, but Jessie took his hand. "That's OK; Sarah will be safe now. Thanks." Her lips pecked him on the cheek, and Shikaku blushed. They walked down the deck, into the setting sun. TBC...I will now do a seperate PW post of only Nick and Sarah for story development. Sux, you can continue with Jessie and Shikaku.
