OOC: Thanks, I wasn't thinking of Brock, but I might, now that I'm sure its
okay. I always thought of each Gym having a lesson to teach a trainer, and if
they could show that they learned it without a defeat, well...Brock's is
fairness in a fight from what I see.
And on with the Show again, considering I don't think anyone else is in
Pewter...
Tyger wasn't feeling too well as he entered the Gym, maybe the Grimer had
gotten to him? Ah well, he could get so antidote after the match. He walked
directly up to Brock.
"Hello, I'd like to challenge you for a Badge"
Brock, having been busily brushing his Vulpix, nearly jumped through the roof.
Tyger sweatdropped.
"Well, er, I guess so, but be prepared to lose. One on one, League rules. You
beat both my pokémon and you win, got it?"
"Of course. You first"
Brock walked over to the arena, and promptly tossed out his Geodude. Tyger
responded by sending out Cubone. Brock sweatdropped this time.
"Great, a Kid who already knows about types..."
Cubone, with a gesture from Tyger, tossed his Bonemerang, sending the Geodude
flying out of the ring and into unconciousness. Brock called out Onix, and
Tyger called back Cubone and sent out his own Onix
"This should be interesting" he said, and with gestures from both, the Onixes
entered combat.
*Several minutes later*
Most of the arena had been leveled in the fight, and the Onix were still going
strong. Brock's Vulpix was hinding behind some of the rubble, and both Tyger
and Brock were covered in dust and debris.
"Enough," called Brock, "Your Onix is well trained, but the entire building's
going to fall at this rate. You've earned the Badge already..."
Tyger replied with a nod, and in a flash of light, his Onix was back in its
pokéball. At that point, a Chansey walked in, carrying a pokéball, it stopped
and sweatdropped, then walked over to Tyger and offered him the pokéball.
Tyger took it, while Chancey walked over to the fainted Geodude, promptly
reviving it with a quick Softboiled egg. Tyger grinned,
"Cool, a Badge and a Grimer, at least until I can find it a home," He turned
to Brock, "You need any help fixing this place back up, I'll be glad to help."
Brock looked at him.
"Thanks, but no. I don't get trainers through here often enough to need this
fixed all the time. It'll be ready for the next match"
Tyger merely shrugged, walking out the door, and chuckling as he saw the next
trainer already on his way...
"On to Cerulean, then we can have a break, Onix" He said, after calling it out
and climbing on board...
