Date: Saturday, January 22, 2000 9:16 AM Last time, our heroes were ambushed by a mysterious attacker, and Lewis was slashes by a raving Kabutops! Insane seems to know who it is, but our other heroes do not suspect. Now, Mike and Meeko are off to earn their Rainbow Badges! "I have come to earn a badge!" Mike shouts. "Me too!" Meeko says. "Very well. I am Erika, the Gym leader. I will battle one of you at a time. We will use three Pokemon each. Victreebell, go!" Erika shouts. "Beedrill, let's get buzzing!" Mike shouts, throwing the pokeball. "Victreebell, Razor leaf!" Erika shouts. Victreebell spun around and shot the leaves out. "Beedrill! Counter attack with pin missile!" Mike shouts. The pins shoot out of Beedrill and hit the leaves, cutting them apart before they can reach Beedrill. "Now, Beedrill, Twinneedle!" Mike shouts. Beedrill flies over and stabs its two hands into the Victreebell, sending it flying into a wall. "Return, Victreebell. Tangela, I choose you!" Erika shouts. The vine Pokemon came out of its pokeball, shouting, "Tang! Ela!" "Eerrrr, Beedrill, agility now!" Mike commands. "Ha! Petal dance!" Erika shouts. Tangela summoned up the petals, which quickly hit Beedrill and knocked it down. "Thrash!" Erika shouts. Tangela thrashed into Beedrill, fainting it. "Return, Beedrill. Your Pokemon may have power, but I have the strength! I choose Dratini!" Mike shouts. The dragon came out of its pokeball, immediately doing a dragon rage without Mike commanding it. "Woah! Um, I didn't order you to do that..." Mike says. "Tini, Dra Dra, tin..."<Sorry, my fault.> "It's ok. One Pokemon left, Erika!" Mike says. "Vileplume, win the match!" Erika says. Vileplume comes out and mega drains Dratini, fainting it. "Agh! Dratini return! Butterfree go!" Mike shouts. Butterfree comes out and Mike shouts, "Sleep powder!" Before Vileplume could react, it started falling asleep... "My Vileplume can't battle... You have earned this rainbow badge!" Erika says, handing over the badge.
