Sailors were scrambling all over the place, and rumours were flying. What had caused the fire in the first place? No one knew for sure, and far too many stories wer being spread. Ryo quickly got off the ship as soon as possible to avoid any kind of questioning or other such nonsense. He was walking through town when he spied a famous face: It was Professor Oak...walking a Muk?! Ryo walked closer to watch, but gave up shortly due to Muk's terrible smell. "oh well," he thought, "I guess I can always talk to him some other time" He sat down on a park bench to think. He had no idea of where to go next. The only spot he had in mind was Mt. Moon, and that was some way's away in the north, it would take forever to get there on foot, and Pidgeotto didn't know the way. He sat there for a long time, until well after the sun set, thinking. Suddenly, an idea came to him. He grabbed a pokéball from his belt. "Pidgeotto, take me to Celadon city!" The large bird grabbed Ryo by the shoulders and took off, landing in Celadon just before the pokécenter closed, providing Ryo a place to sleep for the night...
