With a nod of confidence, the infant Pokémon idled up towards its opponent. Within moments, Space stood toe-to-toe with the Rattata. <<Porigon?>> "Rrrrrrratta!" it squeaked suddenly. The sudden loud noise caused Space to jump a meter straight up, then run behind Forest. The Porygon trembled in fear. "What gives?" asked Mac. "I dunno. Go on Space, try again." Again the Porygon approached Rattata, this time much more cautiously. At this point, Rattata had lost most of its fear of the tall humans, and any fear it may have had of Space had vanished. Moments before Space had reached fighting distance, the Rattata quickly leapt forward, stopping right before hitting the child Pokémon. The mock Tackle was enough for Space, who then zipped back behind Forest's pant leg.
