From: Jose L. Solano <jsolano199@aol.comlink> Subject: [PW!] The Matrix all over again Date: Tuesday, February 15, 2000 4:16 PM "<Wha? What's going on?>" Ashura opened his eyes, noticing he was no longer in a Pokéball. He was still encased in a transparent sphere, and he could see several other Pokémon in a similar condition. He saw Magmar next to him. "<Magmar, wake up! WAKE UP!>" It was no use. Magmar couldn't hear him. "<Fearow? Raticate?>" They couldn't hear him either, even though Fearow was wide awake. He seemed to be contemplating the situation. "<Anyone? Can ANYONE hear me?!>" "<I hear you, Sandslash.>" said a voice. It sounded like an Abra. "<Are you an Abra? Do you know what's going on?>" "<Yes, I'm an Abra, and no, I don't know what's going on. But, I do believe someone here does. Let me see if I can find anyone.>" The Abra searched for someone who knew why everyone was entrapped in these odd spheres. Ashura poked at it with his claw, but all it produced was static. "<Sandslash, a Raticate near you knows what this is. He says that this is a PC where Pokémon and items can be deposited.>" "<That explains the Pokéflute that's been knocking on my head. So how do we get out of this?>" "<We can't. We're stuck here until our owners decide to take us out.>" "<I'm going to have to change that. We're in a PC, right?>" "<Yes, why?>" "<Maybe if we can get as my electric Pokémon to use electric attacks...>" "<I'm not sure if that will work, Sandslash.>" "<Will you stop calling me that? My name is Ashura!>" The Abra paused for a few seconds. "<Alright then, Ashura. I'll contact as many electric Pokémon as I can.>" Ashura sat back in his sphere. He knew only Tenchi could put him here. Ashura had forgotten his old plan, so he thought up another one. "<Ashura, I have found 715 electirc Pokémon in this PC, but none in your file. I'll give the order to use Thunder.>" Within seconds, Ashura could see several flashes off electricity, and numerous static pods bursting, releasing the Pokémon inside. Soon Ashura was freed, and he floated in place. The entire "room" was filled the electricity. The last spheres exploded, and all the Pokémon had been freed. (Meanwhile, in the Pewter City Pokémon Center) A young trainer stopped to deposit his Jigglypuff and withdraw a Meowth. As he pressed the "deposit" button, the screen went blank. "What's going on?" he asked himself. The PC began to smoke and short circuit... TBC (Tenchi's gonna die-ie, Tenchi's gonna die-ie, Tenchi's...)
