From: ShiningTiger <shiningtiger@aol.com> Subject: [PW!] Tyger's Tale, Pt.2 Date: Sunday, February 27, 2000 9:01 PM Tyger was walking into an open building in the strange town he found himself in... Upon entering the building, he looked around. It was some sort of bar, and the people here looked just as listless as those outside. The bartender looked up at him and spoke in a dull monotone, "What'll you have?" Tyger was getting a bit nervous, he hadn't seen this many weird people since the last time his parents invited the whole town over for a party... "Whatever you recommend" he answered The bartender looked at him stangely, then poured some weird looking purple drink and slid it down the bar to him. Tyger sat on an empty stool and sipped the strange liquid... Next thing he knew, he was in some weird uniform at an office building, holding a gun and apparently on patrol with some other guy who still had the blank look on his face. He blinked a few times, and his partner looked at him. "Feelin' okay Tyger? You look a little funny. Maybe you should go see the doc" Tyger, still confused, decided to play along and nodded. The guy started bringing him toward what Tyger assumed was the doctor's, while he slowly got ahold of Mystery's pokéball... Inside the office, the doctor took one look at him and started reaching for a syringe. Tyger threw the pokéball in his hand, "Mystery! Sing them to sleep" "Clefairy, Clefairy..." It wasn't to long before both men had fallen into a deep sleep. Tyger looked around the room, and spotted a map of the building on the wall. This place just seemed *wrong*, and he was going to get to the bottom of this. Making a quick mental note of the route, he made his way to the basement on a hunch. Upon reaching the basement, a thick mist was filling the room, and Mystery looked nervous. Then, Tyger heard a voice, "What! Why aren't you on guard duy?" Tyger looked towards the source of the sound, and nearly jumped through the ceiling when he saw it was...a Ghastly! It spoke again: "So, it looks like you broke my control. You've got a good body...looks like I'll have to do it the old fashioned way" The Ghastly began to move toward Tyger, and he found he couldn't move...but Aussie's pokéball was vibrating wildly. It burst open, revealing a very angry Cubone...that proceeded to glow. Aussie was evolving! With renewed strength, Tyger shouted, "Aussie, Headbutt!" The newly evolved Marowak launched itself at the Ghost, and connected dead on(Tyger groaning at the pun). The Ghastly's eyes were swirling, and Tyger, now able to move, threw a pokéball at it. "Here's to make sure you don't do this again!" The ball struck the ghost, and Ghastly was captured...and the area began to fade. Tyger and his pokémon proceeded to fall smack on to the path to Lavender Town, and the only thing he could say is, "Guess Nutso's part of the team now..." TBC Tyger Wolfe
