This was the first of his named catches... Tyger was now camped outside Cerulean city. It was already nighttime, so he wouldn't be able to get in till morning anyway. To help pass the time, he called out all of his pokémon, who were now milling about the camp. Mystery sat on his lap, and Onix lay curled around the site to keep the others from wandering too far. "Well, guys, its time I gave you names, so every pokémon in the world will know who you are." "Onix" "Cubone" "Karp, Magikarp" "Gri-mer" Mystery remained silent, preferring to keep the fact that he was named first to itself. "Onix, you big softie, I've had you so long, I think you'd better get one first. Lets see...I'll call you Slither, cause thats what you do anyway" Slither bellowed happily in response. "Okay, Cubone, you're 'Aussie, cause your favorite attack reminds me of a boomerang" Aussie nodded in agreement "Okay, you silly fish, you're now Splash, at least till you evolve..." Splash just flopped around helplessly. "Hmm, I may not have you too long, but you get a name too, Grimer: Splat, cause of how I met you" Splat proceeded to slime all over Tyger's legs. Tyger sweatdropped...why does this thing like me so much? Its almost like I'm another pokémon or something... TBC...will Tyger choke when he meets Misty, or will he tell her his true feelings?
