A bunch of kids stood around a Sandshrew. They each took turns throwing pokeballs at it, trying to catch it. "Stand aside." A voice from behind them, almost as mighty as God himself called, as Tycho stepped forward. "Don't you guys know that you have to weaken a Pokemon before you catch it?" he said. He released his Psyduck, pointed to the Sandshrew. Psyduck nodded and let a little squirt of water out, and the Sandshrew curled up in a ball. "Psyduck, more!" The Psyduck let more water out using it's Water Gun attack. The Sandshrew was weak enough so he threw the pokeball. It should a little, a little more..then stopped. The kids were all amazed as Tycho walked home. It wasn't easy being a role model for all of the younger kids. "Tycho! Tycho! Can we have your autograph?" a bunch of kids asked him with pens and papers in their hands. "Tycho! Tycho! Tycho! Tycho!" the crowd cheered. He was the city's coolest kid. "Tycho!" his mother called. "Wake up!" "Aww man..another dream.." he said. He rolled on top of Psyduck who Fury Swiped him off. "Get up, Tycho!" his mom kicked him. "Moom..I'm 17..lemme sleep a little longer.." he grumbled. Psyduck let out a yip as he rolled over his tail. It jumped up, rolled Tycho over, and slapped him until he got up. "OK, OK, I'm up..up.." he fell back onto the bed. He was up until 4:30 last night with his friends. They had just come back from their journeys, which he had lacked to do. His Psyduck wasn't ready to battle anyone else, and he still wasn't ready to do anything serious, like leave home. Tycho took his Psyduck to the Safari Zone one day to battle pokemon. They were searching around for Rhyhorns he could easily overtake. They found a cave, thinking there may be other rock pokemon in there. They walked in slowly, and he signaled for Psyduck to get in front of him instead of hanging onto his leg. "You're supposed to by my bodyguard..not vice versa." he said. Psyduck shivered and grabbed it's head, acting like it was having a bad headache. He made fake crys of pain as Tycho stood there. He looked up at Tycho, who was not convinced, and then started walking with it's hands on it's hips. For about an hour they were searching through the cave, the light from the occasional hole in the ceiling of the cave. They walked into the dark after the holes were all but gone and bumped into a rock wall. "Ow.." Tycho said. Psyduck ran backwards. Tycho looked up. Two gigantic eyes stared at him from above. They moved down and they were at eye level. He slowly stepped back, gradually running towards the entrance of the cave. The pokemon followed, revealing itself to be an Onix. Tycho pulled Psyduck on his back and turned him backwards to the Onix. "Psyduck, Watergun now!" he called out. The Psyduck spat out a tiny little sprinkle in it's fear. The Onix let out a gust of breat that knocked Psyduck into the wall. The Onix had cornered them. What was Tycho going to do? To Be Continued.. Just kidding! I wouldn't leave you at the edge of your seat like that! He stared at the Onix. It seemed like hours. The Onix suddenly lunged at Tycho who closed his eyes in horror. Nothing happened. He looked at the Onix who seemed to be in suspended animation. A glowing blue light surrounded it. He looked around. Sure enough, his Psyduck was using good old Confusion. He threw the Onix across the cave and then let out a gigantic ammount of waves which he surfed on. The Onix screached in pain. Tycho, who was on the ground, reluctantly threw a pokeball which was blocked by a trainer. "Hey! You beat up my Onix!" he said yelling at Tycho. "You'll be sorry!" The man in the black uniform ran off after calling back his Onix. Tycho then saw a bunch of other people running after him. He was even more confused at this point. "Psyduck, come here.." he said. Psyduck seemed to be full of itself at this point. He pulled out the TychoDex, which was a lesser equivalent of the Pokedex that he tinkered with from parts of an old Pokedex, and pressed the attack button. ((Hi Tycho, and my, aren't you looking good today. This Pokemon is Psyduck. It's attacks are- Confusion. Fury Swipes. Tail Whip. Surf. It's level it- 49)) "Heh, I always am looking good aren't I?" Tycho said smiling in the reflection of the TychoDex. Psyduck Fury Swiped him out of his day-dream. He got on his feet and exclaimed, "Psyduck, I don't know who those men are. But I'm going to find them, and join one of them, so help me Goddish!" (Yeah, pretty corny. But how else am I going to get him to join either TR or ATR? Get him beat up?)
