From: Dreadite (dreadite@tsoft.com) Subject: [PW!] A forgotten demon? Legends of the past. (Er... ignore the title, I was so bored.) Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000-08-29 06:01:06 PST "Report." A booming, hollow voice echoes as if in an empty hallway, spreading an empty presence throughout. "I have returned to take this place back... sir." A young voice. Soft, full of loss and sorrow. The darkened silhouette on the monitor of the DCBFHE turns away, and his profile unmistakably angry... "I see. You are dismissed," he says, with a very busy tone. "Until I have need of you." The monitor flashes off, the image leaving an impression apon the dark, empty room. And footsteps leave the darkened room, the door opening into the forests outside cerulean. And the man who steps out seems hardly threatening as he steps towards the town itself. "And now to find that creature..." The man's eyes flash, blue and... red? "And then what?" With a quick motion, a pidgey appears in his hands... "Pidgey. God bird... lend me wings?" He smirks faintly, as the bird takes off into the sky, fluttering above the man's head. "You are too weak still. We will need to make you stronger... quickly." The man steps into the town... and dressed in pure white, that shines. His hair is long... flowing well past his back, wavy strands cut over his eyes, for him to peer past, but to hide the aged weariness, and burning fire in his eyes. As he reaches the Cerulean pokemon center, the man has already attracted some attention, but he slides away, disappearing with the grace of a man that has been practiced at doing so. And then, he is at the counter. "I need to speak to someone... someone who cannot be found." The man holds out a piece of paper. "I want to find the head of that new... organization. Pokemon something or other... Resistance?" The man smirks, and the Joy at the counter shivers, as if a cold air blew over her. "Give him this." And with that, the man is gone. Joy blinks, and sets the envelope to the side. "...Odd man. Oh, well." She smiles, and looks at the next person in line... "Can I see that cubone now?" ----- Dreadite is angry. Not because he was not recognized, but because he doubted that would get to where he wanted it to. He watches his Pidgey's battle with a professional air. The child trainer he is battling is so... pathetic. Dreadite's thoughts wander, giving him time to search with his mind. (Just wait... you will see... why I am immortal.) "VARROOO!" Dreadite's eyes snap open, and he points at the battling pair... "Pidgey... Sky Attack... oh." He smirks faintly, as the kid returns his already fainted Charmander. "You have a lot of potential, kid... train harder. And never forget to focus away from yourself." Dreadite's pidgey lands on his shoulder, and he steps away. "Very good. You showed a lot of focus... I did not have to order you." The pidgey coos, and folds its wings. (Not much longer... not much longer.) Dreadite tosses his head to let his hair fall away from his eyes, and leaps from a bridge down to a lower road. "I will bring justice to the innocent one..." His eyes become jaded, his white clothing shining in the light, as he walks along the middle yellow lines, cars swerving past him. "Tsk, tsk, foolish, caring more for my life to risk your own." Dreadite speaks to himself as he heads to Saffron. ----- "Sir? Was that wise?" Giovanni closes his eyes in anger. "I fail to see why it was not, but it is NOT wise to annoy me. Do not question me. Now... is there something else?" The rocket gulps. "No, boss..." "Then go." The rocket scurries out of Giovanni's office, and the boss rocket sighs. "Imbeciles." The boss rocket reduces to thinking... an expression of uncontrolled worry on his face. "That plan failed horribly." --TBC? (Yeah, maybe, you know. If I get bored. ^_- No seriously, yes, but maybe not for a while... I leave on a trip on thursday, and won't be back for a month. ^_^)
