A new blue forever had arisen, and Loriana had arisen early once
again. Ever since the incident with the Two-Leggeds, Loriana had taken
it upon herself to act as guardian of her family. She would stand in an
area near her family, and simply stare. If she saw some Two Leggeds,
she would start growling, and her parents would herd the other pups
back into the safety of their home, then prepare themselves for any
trouble. Fortunately, the most trouble they ever got was from passing
trainers icthing to train their Pokémon. Noone actually threw a red
rock at any of the family, and Loriana was happy. However, she was
slowly growing tired of the old place. As the most experienced of the
family, her parents were not afraid to let Loriana leave home, tho they
would miss her terribly.
As the round yellow shape made its way through the centre of the
blue forever, a familiar scent reached Loriana's nose. It resembled the
rank oders coming from the oval cylindric shapes the evil Two-Leggeds
had in their mouths the day they attacked her family. She growled
louder than she had ever before, but the smell had reached Firefly, and
Lorina's father, Ashes, had since placed the pups back into their den.
Shes and Firefly sniffed the ground and the air, trying to pinpoint the
location of the stench. Suddenly, a red beam came out of the forest and
formed into a gaint Blastoise. A voice cried out, "Hydro Pump all
those lousy Fire Pokémon! They must all pay for embarrasing the great
Team Rocket!"
The giant turtle Pokémon roared, then cocked its water cannons into
Firefly's direction. Two jets of water fired at Firefly, but at the
last second Ashes leaped into the path and took the full brunt of the
Water attack. Ashes collapsed, and A red rock flew out and captured
him. Angered at the loss of Ashes, Firefly let loose with the Fire
Spin, an attack that Loriana wished she could do someday. Knowing that
a simple Fire Spin could not beat the Water Pokémon, Loriana felt the
feeling rise in her again. Taking full advantage of it, she released
her now-revered Embers, and when the flames finally subsided, the
Blastoise was seriously charred, but still going.
"Hahahaha! Foolish foxes! Your puny flames can't hurt this turtle!"
cried the voice, oblivious to the Blastoise's darkened state. "Skull
Bash!"
The Blastoise charged up power, then proceeded to smash into
Firefly. This was the final straw for Loriana and her sisters and
brothers. Seeing both their father and mother ravaged as easily as they
were can have an effect on young Vulpixes. This effect is similar to
when Loriana uses her feeling, but the other Vulpixes could only do it
once. Unfortunately for the Rocket, he decided to come out of hiding at
that time. He picked up the red rock containing Ashes, than laughed
evilly.
Suddenly from the den raced a horde of flame and red fur. Loriana
proceeded to join up with this crowd, making it even bigger. Now,
usually Blastoises are rock solid and fear nothing. But the sight of
the giant fireball proved to be too much, and the turtle headed back
into the Rocket's Pokéball. The Rocket's smile dissipated faster than a
baloon on a cactus, and soon he disappeared as well, knocked high into
the blue forever and soon disappearing with a "ping". The fireball
reformed into the many pups, who rushed over to their mother and
started to lick her wounds. They stayed outside far into the black
forever, and when the black forever gave way to the blue forever,
Firefly was well. She looked at where Shes had once been lying, and a
tear left her eye and shortly dissipated into smoke. She motioned to
her cubs, than set fire to their home. None of the pups protested, as
they knew staying would only bring more trouble. Firefly and her pups
started to leave, but Loriana stayed behind a short while and looked at
what had been her only place of solace for her entire life. Upon hering
her mother's cry, she to left the area.
The family started to travel, and had no clue as to where there
travels were taking them, only that there was a lake alongside this
area.
TBC? (Well, Loriana's on the move and will soon leave her family on her
own. She's now halfway between Fuschia and the Snorlax sleeping spot.
if you wish, you can write the story and catch Loriana, as I said
before.)
