From: Areku: I'm a jedi without a light saber. (daitooryoo@att.net) Subject: [PW!] Dai-:finale Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000/08/12 Dai's dead body remained on the ATR base as his spirit floated up towards the heavens. In less than a minute, Dai was before a gigantic Oddish sitting on a throne. "Who are you?" Dai asked. The Oddish stood up and caused the world to tremble slightly. "I am Goddish, welcome to what you pathetic mortals call heaven." "Pathetic? No pokemon calls me pathetic and gets away with it!" Dai yelled as he reached for one of his daggers. Goddish laughed and put a green aura over Dai. "Heh, you're dead, you have no weapons, and I'm not a pokemon." Dai gasped. "Then what are you? Some animated robot?" Goddish laughed. "I'm God, the one and only." Dai laughed. "I thought God was supposed to be this loving superior being who left us all in awe...to me you're just a huge Oddish." Goddish growled. "Fool! I am the one and only GOD!!" Dai sighed and then nodded. "Okay okay, praise Goddish, you are the only God." Goddish smiled. "That's better, now what were you here for? Oh yes, you're dead!" Dai looked down and then back up at Goddish. "You don't have to rub it in..." Goddish laughed out loud, his laugh made the clouds rain and the sun hide. "But I have to, cause I'm eternal, and you're dead! Ha ha!" Dai once again tried to take out one of his daggers, but stopped, remembering what Goddish had said. "So what now? Do I just stay here? Am I supposed to go to heaven or hell? Am I supposed to do something here?" Goddish took out a large yellow book. "Ahhh, here we go. Air conditioning, Animals, Appliances, Automobiles, I don't see any Dai." Dai laughed and made a face at Goddish. "That's the yellow pages, I thought you were supposed to be all knowing and all powerful." Goddish cleared his throat and put back the yellow pages, then got out another book. "My bad, here we go, this is the right book." Goddish flipped through the pages and found Dai. "Oh my , you've had such a life for a teenager." Dai frowned. "Yeah, tell me about it." Goddish put on a serious face. "It seems you don't know much about your life, your family, who you are." Dai nodded. "Yes, I've been searching for it all along." Goddish elevated Dai, so he could sit on one of his huge leafs. "This is all that you don't remember, your life, your family." Dai looked closer at the book." My life, my family, who is he?" Dai pointed at the picture of a boy with black hair and blue eyes, besides him a girl with brown hair and brown eyes. Goddish looked at the picture, he made it glow, and projected it on a cloud. "You see, that's your brother, his name is Alex." Dai gasped. "I have a brother....yes, and who is she?" Goddish flipped a page in the large book he was holding. "That's his girlfriend, nothing of yours, anyhoo.." "Yes?" Dai asked. "You joined ATR, to find a place where you belonged?" Goddish said as he projected a picture of ATR on the same cloud. "Yes, I did, but it got me dead, and now I'm here." Dai answered. Goddish looked through his book til he found another picture, it was of a evil looking man that Dai recognized. "That's the man who killed you." Dai wanted to rip the picture to pieces, but he couldn't do that to Goddish's book. "I'd rip that picture to pieces you know? But it's your book and I don't want you to unleash your leafy rage on me. Yes, that's the man who killed me." Goddish laughed. "Leafy rage, you humans, always have to be the comedians. Anyhoo, that man just hasn't killed you, he has killed many." This was no surprise to Dai, the look in Trent's face was that of a killer. Dai jumped off Goddish's leaf and back on the cloud he was standing on. "So what now? You tell me all these things? For what reason?" Goddish closed the book and put it away. "Well, I don't think it's exactly your time right now, but you're dead and I can't do a thing about it. " Dai knocked himself on the head. "Gah, I wanted to come back as a Growlithe or something. I could beat you easily in a pokemon battle if I was a fire type pokemon. " Goddish sighed. "Why does everyone want to kill me? Anyhoo..." Goddish elevated Dai and had him floating in the sky. "What I mean, is you're to go back to Earth." Dai tried to go back down, but found it impossible to leave Goddish's magical hold. "Why?" Goddish made a cloud glow green, two pokeballs and an Eevee appearing, as well as Dai's old clothes and his daggers. "You're to go back to Earth, and end with this "Trent" once and for all. He's killed enough people already,. I'm tired of him." Dai looked back down at Earth. "Go back down so I can be killed again? No way, and we all know after Trent, another killer will come, and then another. There's no use." Goddish smiled. "Killers are like entertainment for me, I get tired of the same one over and over again. I'd actually like to see someone who died of heart disease, instead of the same thing: people killed by Trent or his Sandslash." Dai gasped and then started laugh. "Okay, so you mean God almighty, enjoys people being KILLED?!?!" Goddish nodded and smiled again. "Of course, MORE COMPANY FOR ME AND MY GROUP OF MANY DEAD FRIENDS!" Dai looked evily at Goddish. "I really wish I were a fire type, but this unbelievable, God enjoys seeing people dead.....and he's not at all nice? I always have to expect the unexpected.." Goddish smiled evily. "Oh come on kid, I'm giving you another chance to live. A chance to get revenge, a chance to find your family, a chance to eat food again, a chance to have fun, a chance to fall in love, MOST NO ONE GETS THESE...unless they are hired by that damned Akumachu." Suddenly Dai fell to the cloud he was standing on. "Okay, Goddish. I'll do it, I take your offer." Goddish laughed silently. "Excellent, now, take your stuff and go off to live again." Goddish brought down Dai's Eevee, his two pokeballs, his clothes, and his daggers to where Dai was standing. Dai looked down at Eevee. "I missed you..." Eevee jumped up and down. "VEEEE!!! VEEEEEE!!!" Dai's clothes suddenly disappeared from the cloud and magically came onto Dai's body. "Heeey, instant dress, no wonder you never have to get out of your chair Goddish." Goddish smiled. "Just another heavenly convenience." Dai put his daggers in their holders and attached him to his robe again, then put his two pokeballs in a small pocket near his leg. Slowly Dai and Eevee started to disappear. "What's happening to me?" Goddish laughed, making the sun come back out and the clouds to stop raining. "You're just going back to the world of mortals, REMEMBER: EAT, SLEEP, AND KILL TRENT!!" Dai nodded. "Okay, okay, kill Trent." Dai ended up sitting down with his Eevee next to him, on the spot of the base where he had been killed.
