Mike shouted. "Slowpoke is out of the match." the flag guy said. " Slowpoke, come back!" the Caterpie squad picks up Slowpoke and carries him away. "Red trainer, call out your next pokemon." the flag guy said. "This is it, Meeko." Mike said. " Go Pikachu! Agility!" Meeko shouted. Meeko's Pikachu leaped onto the field, getting faster every second. "Haunter, try to hypnosis it!" Mike said. Haunter looked around, trying to find a spot where it could attack. "Don't aim, just SHOOT!" Mike commanded. Haunter began firing hypnosis's wildly, hitting a few people in the front row and putting them asleep. " Pika pika pika!" Pikachu shouted. " ( WHy Pikachu? I should've been picked... )" Ivysore says. "Confuse ray, keep focusing on one spot until it hits!" Mike commanded. " Thunderbolt!" Meeko commanded. Pikachu stops, and thunderbolts. Haunter was shooting a confuse ray on the opposite side, and is hit with 10,000 volts of surging electricity, knocking him out. "No, Haunter! Return!" Mike commanded. "Haunter is out of the match, Green trainer, call your next pokemon." the flag guy said. " Watch out Pikachu!" Meeko warns. "This is risky, this is insane, but I choose you..." Mike said. Meeko held her breath. "Parasect!" Mike said, throwing the pokeball. With a flash of light, Lewis's Parasect landed on the field, and dug its claws into the ground. "Sect!" it said. " Pikachu! Thunderbolt!" Meeko commanded. Pikachu fired the bolt of thunder, which surpringly barely hurt Parasect! "He's grass, it won't be effective enough!" Mike laughed. " Agility!" Meeko said, suddenly. Pikachu did its speed thing, and suddenly dozens of Pikachus appeared to be on the field. "Dig!" Mike said. Parasect dug its claws further into the ground, lifting it up and going underneath. " Pika pika pi!" Pikachu sayd. "Just stay under until he's too tired to use agility!" Mike shouts loudly. " This is tense." Nicky says. " Pi...pi..." Pikachu says, starting to slow down a little. Parasect shoots out of the ground and connects with Pikachu's soft underbelly. " Pi!" Pikachu gasps. Pikachu hits a wall, still up, but stunned. " Chaaaaa..." it says. "Oh my Goddish." Mike said. "Parasect, take it down easily, spore." Mike says, calmly. " Thunder!" Meeko desperately shouts. Pikachu's cheeks surge with a little electricity, but not enough for a thunder. Parasect releases the spore, and Pikachu feels a calmness as it drifts into lala land. "I did it." Mike said, gaping. "I won." "I WON!" "Pikachu is unable to continue, Green trainer has won the match, and is our new Pokemon League Champion in the 0-6 badge division!" the flag guy says. "Parasect, thank you!!!" Mike shouts. " Pikachu! Are you alright?" Meeko asks. With a great leap, Mike jumps onto the field and hugs Parasect. "Oh Meeko, is he alright?" he asks. " I think so, he took a beating..." Meeko replies. "I'm sorry." Mike says. " Pi...ka..." he wheezed in his sleep. " Don't worry Pikachu, you'll be alright in a little while." Meeko says, picking up Pikachu. " One of us had to win Mike." she said, shaking his hand. "It was a truly intense fight." he said. " Yes, I guess I should try this Orange League I heard of." Lewis says, "Well, we have something to celebrate and mourn about, it seems." "Orange League?" asks Bridget. " Yeah, one the Orange Islands." Nicky replies. Lewis replies, "I've heard about them, a vast amount of islands with a seperate Pokemon League there." "Well, what are we waiting for, we have to get back to the Plateau for the closing ceremonies!!"
