She watches as Berry suddenly turns around, then scoops up Pteryx. The little Aerodactyl appeared to like the attention the Chansey was giving her. "Ummm...." Yawning, Shields approached the party, making Damian forget his next comment. He took one look at the Chansey and his usually cheerful demeanor darkened. Berry noticed Shields as well and clutched Pteryx tightly. Damian and Sarah Jane could practically see electric sparks flying between the two. "Knock it off you two," said Sarah Jane, anticipating what was next. Shields, feeling as if the Chansey was muscling in on his territory, grabbed Pteryx away from her. Berry slapped Shields and grabbed the Aerodactyl back from the Mr. Mime. Shields responded likewise. "I'm missing something, aren't I?" asked Damian. "Berry is Grandma's Chansey," explained Sarah Jane. "When I was little and I was sick, Berry would take care of me. I got Shields when I was about 8. Berry felt threatened. The two have had a longstanding rivalry since then." Pteryx began to tire of the rough handling. She began to squawk in protest. "All right, that's enough!" scolded Sarah Jane as she swam over to the edge of the lake. Damian suddenly realized that she was getting out of the water. Water dripped from Sarah Jane's strapless swimsuit as she strode over to the feuding caregivers. "Stop it you two!" she said as she snatched the crying baby Aerodactyl away from Shields and Berry. "Look what you've done! You've upset Pteryx!" She glanced over at Damian. "Ummm.... Damian.... you're nose is bleeding...." "Chansey!" shouted Berry as she noticed a potential patient. She rushed over to Damian and began fussing over him. "I'm fine..." said Damian, who's face had turned a shade of bright red. He should have known Sarah Jane wasn't the kind of girl to go swimming without a swimsuit. As he fended off the Chansey's attention, Sarah Jane set down Pteryx and began drying off. Cuddles and Spunky saw Sarah Jane was out of the water and dashed over. While Berry was occupied, Shields grabbed one of the towels and began drying the Nidorans, much to their surprise. No way he was going to let _that_ Chansey worm her way in on his business. Pteryx and the Nidos were _his_ charges, not hers. By the time Damian managed to convince Berry that he didn't need her to take care of him, Sarah Jane was dressed and Cuddles and Spunky were glaring at Shields. "How about I give you the full tour of the grounds?" said Sarah Jane to Damian.
