Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000/04/05 After a week or two of doing nothing, Cajava finally left her cabin on the Anne. She took a deep breath of fresh air, then was about to head for the main area when she heard a small "Marril!" "A Marril? here? No way! I have to have it!" Cajava burst off in the direction of the cry, which kept repeating every now and then. Cajava stoped and looked around. The cry was coming from the cargo hold. Cajava walked down the stairs, pokéball in hand. however, at the bottom, all she saw was a Jigglypuff. "Huh? A Jigglypuff? but I wanted a Marril!" Cajava started back up the stairs when she heard a "Marril!" again. She whirled around and saw the jigglypuff, still sitting there on the floor. Cajava started hunting around the hold. "Come out, come out! I won't hurt you! I'll just capture you!" she said. The Jigglypuff facefaulted at Cajava's idiocy. Then, from the corner of her eye, she saw a small, balloon-shaped object with round ears and a tail with a bulb on the end. "Pokéball, go!" she cried. the ball flew, hit the object, sucked it in,then bounced back and landed in Cajava's hand, then opened. "Yes! I caught.....a Marril doll?" Sure enough, the "Marril" was a stuffed doll that was being sold on the main deck. Puzzled, Cajava headed back up to the main deck and walked over to the bar. She needed a non-alcoholic beverage to help her make sure she wasn't going nuts. As soon as she left and was out of hearing range, the Jigglypuff started laughing out loud. When it was finally finished, it reached behind itself and pulled out a bullhorn. The Jigglypuff brought it to its lips, and spoke into it. The words entered as "Jiggly!" but exited as "Marril!" The Jigglypuff laughed, then set up another Marril doll and waited for the next foolish trainer. What fun! TBC? (Anyone can meet Cajava at the drink bar for some interaction. This bit of foolishness was thought up during a bout with writer's block, and in no way is meant to make fun of, or mess around with the rules. I just wanted a reason to put the voice-microphone into one of my stories. And just to make sure, it was a DOLL, and not a real Marril.)
