The sign in front read 'Nippon Home for the Disabled' and had a cute little Pikachu in a wheelchair. He walked up to the front door. As he entered he looked at a directory to find his brother's schedule. He walked down the hall and to the right to find a large area with people doing all sorts of activities. His brother immedietly recognized him, stood up, and ran towards him to hug him. "Look everyone!!! It's Kanjaku! My brother! He hasn't come to see me in a bajillion years!!!" He smiled and hugged him. "Hello, Waid." Kanjaku patted his brother on the back. "Where were you? I've been all alone here. I miss mommy..." He said as a tear fell down his face. "I'm sorry, Waid. I've been away on business..and I can't stay long today." Kanjaku looked at his brother who's face was shedding with tears. "I don't like it here...I want it to be like it was when mommy was alive. I want to go outside and play and have you beat up the big kids that picked on me...and.." He stopped. "I'm sorry, Waid..I have to go now." He looked at his watch. "Wait..here, take this." Waid handed Kanjaku a folded piece of paper. "I made it for you when you came an' saw me last time. I didn't get a chance to give it to you." "Thank you, Waid. I'll come visit you real soon." Kanjaku smiled at his brother who was in tears and walked away. As he got to the car, he opened the paper. Inside was a picture of two stick figures with the labels "Waid" and "Kanjaku" beside them. His handwriting was still a mess, but he could tell Waid was improving. He opened the car door with a sigh and got in. 1 week later Kanjaku drove up to the vacant lot. It appeared barren and desolate. He walked to the front of the doors. A sign was taped up sloppily. It read 'CONDEMNED'. Kanjaku looked around. The sign was gone, there was no trace of anyone. He beat on the doors. He sat down and pulled out his cell phone. He punched in a few numbers, was put on hold, punched a few more numbers. After about 10 minutes of going nowhere, he shut his phone in frusteration and grief. There were no traces of his brother anywhere. Kanjaku woke up. The nightmares were getting worse. Not only was he recreating everything that happened so many years ago, but he was doing it more frequently. He glanced at the clock. It was only 2:27 in the morning. He got up and got dressed, packed himself, and left to check out. At the desk he was waiting behind a man in line to check out as well. The man turned around, and the front right pocket had a Pikachu in a wheelchair on it. He stopped him. "Where did you get that patch?" Kanjaku asked. "I..my granddaughter sewed it on for me." He said hesitantly. "Oh, Ok. For some reason I don't believe you." He said determined. "And what're you going to do about it? Just leave me alone." The man gave Kanjaku the evil eye and walked away. "Wait!" Kanjaku called. The man stopped, and continued to walk through the door. Kanjaku ran after him, but he was out of sight. He walked back in silently and checked out. He had almost given up hope of finding his brother at all. After checking out, he slowly stepped outside. "I used to stay up late and look at the stars every night with him...he always spent hours looking for the big dipper." Kanjaku recalled the memories he had with his younger brother. He had dwelled upon them every day since the incident had occured. It seemed everywhere he went led him in circles, noone wanting to tell the truth. A shooting star flashed across the sky. He made his wish with all his heart and closed his eyes. He was ready to go home. -- Murkrow: Musashiden Dies
