He was hungrier than he wantd to be and decided to stop for food. It had been ages since he'd had hamburgers so he decided to stop at a hamburger stall. Steam sizzled off the top of the burgers. Caleb's mouth watered as he ordered the food. He sunk his teeth into the burger. All burgers from caravan stands taste the same but Caleb liked them. He felt someone tug his coat. " Excuse me sir, you have some Pokeballs, would you like a fight?" Hmm, Caleb thought for a long time. " OK, I need to test their skills..." " I choose Oddish!" Te boy yelled and threw a Pokeball. A small rather insignificent Oddish stood there, drawing faces in the sand with its foot. " Snooze! GO!" The Abra appeared, asleep. " Abra! Psybeam now!" Snooze opened his eyes slowly. -What am I doing here?- It asked Caleb through telepathy. " You're supposed to fight that Oddish, now do it!" -I don't wish to fight...- " I don't care, just fight please!" -It is not wise to upset me- Snooze seemed angry. -Withdraw me or I will do it myse- The Oddish jumped onto Snooze's head. -Ow! This is your fault!- Snooze began to glow and raised himself from the ground. He turned and faced the Oddish, who was shaking. " Odd...Oddish!" It began to sweat. " ABRA!" Snooze yelled. The pretty Psybeam crackled forward and hit Oddish full on in the face. He was fainted instantly. -I didn't want to harm my fellow Pokemon, but humans I don't care for- Snooze turned to face Caleb. " Snooze re-" Snooze's pokeball flew from Caleb's hand into Snoozes paw. " Ab!...RRRAAABBB!" A wave of glowing energy flowed from Snooze and as soon as it touched Caleb is disappeared. " Huh? Tahw deneppah?" Snooze smiled as Caleb spoke the words. " HGUA! YM ECIOV! Tahw did uoy od?" Caleb shut his mouth. His own speaking scared him. -If you apologize I'll reverse it...- Snooze smiled. " Yrros!" -What? Doesn't sound like sorry to me...- Snooze returned himself to his pokeball. Oh crap. That little turd has reversed my voice! What the hell am I gonna do now? Caleb thought. Maybe Sarbina in Saffron can help... I'll have to hurry, Caleb began to run. Why can't things be simple for me? Caleb thought. I have to save Ilanna then I have some other things to sort out. I want to live peacefully again, like I was before these Pokemon and Carver is mostly responsible. Maybe I'll retire...Who knows? HEY CALEB! Get your mind back onto what you're supposed to be doing! Caleb reminded himself. " Hey! You!" Caleb turned around two people were standing there. One was male, he looked slightly younger than Caleb. He wore a black leather jacket witha red R on the back he also wore black combat pants and black boots. He also had a red shirt which was undone over a black T-shirt. The other was a girl about the same age as the other guy she wore red leather jacket over a white T-shirt with a red R on. She wore white combat pants with black boots. They both held large rocket launchers. " Ohw ehy kcuf era uoy syug?" " What? Heh, nevermind. I'm agent Mowen," The bloke said. " I'm agent Harmony," " We're from Team Rocket with an important mission," " Do you know what that is, Caleb?" Harmony chirped up. " On, tub I evah a dliw sseug..." Caleb said to himself. " We've been sent by Carver to deal with you now, any last words?" " Kool, I t'nod evah emit rof siht," " What the hell are you saying?" " It doesn't matter Mowen, blast the fool!" They raised their rocket launchers and began firing. " Yloh tihs!" Caleb ran to one side and pulled up his magnum. Caleb ducked behind a small building. " Kaworam, Uhciar! OG!" Raichu and Marowak appeared. " Kciuq! Pool dnuor eht rehto edis fo eht gnidliub dna ekat tuo eht stnega," " Wak?" " Rai?" " OG!" Caleb yelled. The Pokemon didn't understand but ran around the other side of the building where Caleb was pointing. " Hiya Caleb!" Mowen and Harmony appeared. " Hey buddy!" Harmony winked. " Pord daed!" Caleb raised his gun and fired at Mowen and hit him in the stomach. " You twat! Now I'll kill you slowly!" Mowen dropepd his gun and clutched his stomach. " Mowen,! He has pokemon look!" " Thanks for the warning Harm... Charmander go!" " Char?" " Kill that Raichu!" " GO! Hypno!" " Hypno?" " Take down his Marowak!" " Ton os tsaf!" Caleb chuckled. Mowen and Harmony turned back to see a large Dragonite and a grumpy looking Abra. " Kcatta meht!" Caleb yelled. -I won't fight your wars for you, Caleb and Smaug doesn't believe in violence- " Ha! What a stupid Abra, you'll be an easy kill!" -WHAT?! HOW DARE YOU HUMAN!- Snooze began glowing as did Harmony who was slowly raised into the air, she clutched her throat as her windpipe was slowly crushed. " Put her down or he dies," Mowen had his rocket launcher pointed at Caleb. -Kill him, I don't care- " What if I kill you?" Mowen fired at Snooze but the missile exploded onm the foot of a pissed looking Dragonite. " Drraag!" Smaug raised his fist and slammed Mowen into the wall. Snooze had dropped Harmony when she had fainted. -Sometimes violence is the only way out- Snooze smiled. Caleb gathered his Pokemon. _Caleb, this once I helped you, but don't expect it in the future, oh and that speech thing is still stuck on you, so have fun- Snooze smiled as he was returned. Caleb turned back to look at the two agents. Best leave them there. Time to get going, onwards to Saffron city. He had alot of business there now...
