(OOC: If the move lists are out of date, sue me. the only WG I could find was from 08/10/99) "Jackie! Return!" cried out John after avoiding yet another badly-aimed kick. the Hitmonlee returned to its Pokéball. John desided that electricity is best, so out came Spark. "Jolt!" it cried, and proceeded to fry Slowbro with A Thundershock. Slowbro stood there, and finally collapsed. "Slowbro, return! Go, Golem!" The giant boulder appeared, and leaped through the air with all intents to squash the Jolteon before it.At the lastm second Spark dashed out with super speed. "Quick Attack! Took you long enough! Now let's take that thing down!" As the Golem got angrier by the second, Spark started taking it apart, piece by piece. Suddenly, Golem flew apart into a group of boulders and proceeded to steamroll Spark. Both Pokémon crashed into a tree, but Golem was the first to stand, reforming itself after using Rock Slide at his trainer's wild motions. "Spark! return! Stompede! Go! Tackle full power!" The insane Tauros came out of its pokéball at a run, and smashed into the Golem. It tried again, but Golem grabbed it by the horns and started pushing. The two at equal strength, the pushing contest continued on for some time when John saw an opportunity. "Stompede! Leap out of the way!" Stompede did so, and Golem's momentum took it all the way into the pool near the Tower. Golem surfaced, then fainted. "Golem! Return! Vileplume! Go!" the Rock Pokémon returned for some R&R, and Robert's Vileplume appeared. "Use Petal Dance!" Vileplume started dancing around, and sharp petals flew at Stompede. each hit ticked off the already mad bull even more, and suddenly it charged Vileplume with all intents to chop up some salad. Seeing this, Vileplume's defense mechanisms clicked, and some of the worst smelling smoke came out from its top. The smell was so bad, Stompede stopped short, and it fell over unconcious. John brought back his bull. "I guess we can call that an impromptu Sleep Powder, but now here's my best! Ariel, appear!" John's favorite, the blessed mermaid Ariel, came out in a blue streak and formed in the typical Vaporeon pose. Robert stared. "What is that?" he asked to n one in particular. "That's a Vaporeon, and John must not be a good trainer to send a Water Pokémon into battle aginst a Grass-Type," replied Ms. Know-It-All, better known as Rilli. John simply smiled. "Ariel, Ice Beam!" A white beam emitted from the Vaporeon's mouth, and frosted the top of the Vileplume's head, eliminating the chance for Sleep Powder and Absorb. "Hey! Is that legal?" asked Robert. "Don't just stand there, Rob! Use an Ice Heal!" "Huh? Oh, yeah." Robert tossed a vial, and defrosted Vileplume's head. The plant started searching for its enemy. "Vileplume?" "Ariel! Bite it! Froim a shadowy area came a blue streak, and Ariel chomped on the Vileplume. Vileplume screamed, and started Absorbing Ariel's energy fast. before she fainted, Ariel let loose one last Ice Beam, and Vileplume went down. Robert returned his Pokémon. John applied a Revive and Ariel backed off from the battle. The two combatents looked at each other. John's fingers twitched around the Pokéball of Wraps, his Tangela. "Got anything else?" he asked. TBC? -- A battle with Spearow flying in, A battle with Snorlax, he's not thin! A battle with Vaporeon's what I like! A battle with Jigglypuff on the mike! A battle with Mewtwo, he's the man! A battle with Eevee, I'm a fan! A battle with Pinsir would be fine! Pokéball Go! And they're all mine!
