JAY MINER Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000/03/18 <EPISODE 1> <Trainer in Training!> "Go Dratini!" Jay Miner wakes up. The radio blares; "Find out what happens next on pokewars!" Jay hits the clock and yelps out: "Ooooooooouuuuch!" Jay realizes his total folly of hitting a Jolteon alarm clock. He looks at the imprint on his bleeding hand. "7:00AM, just in time." Jay gets his bike ready and heads south to Pallet. "Ah Pewter, how I'll miss thee. Yeah right!" Jay chuckles as he passes through Viridian Forest. He exits without seeing a soul (or a Pokemon) ...until Wham!! he seems to have hit a bump that sends him flying. Before Jay awakes, a tiny Diglett starts licking his face. The Diglett watches as he recounts the events in his tiny round head. <FLASHBACK> "I'm releasing you Diglett..because you stink!" resays Gary three years ago. "You're the weakest pokemon I've ever seen!" retells Damien. "You're outta the family!" "You're an insult!" "Can't you keep a trainer before it releases you?" say his brother(s) Dugtrio. [The scene then shows the Dugtrios tossing him out onto route 1.] [Then the scene shows Diglett laying in the road not wanting to live anymore when Jay ramps right over him into the sky falling down.] Jay wakes up. He sees the Diglett and is very surprised. "Thanks." says Jay. Diglett eyes a nearby pokeball. Using his nose, Diglett activates the pokeball and it captures him. Jay, stunned, stares at it until the realization comes...he just got his first Pokemon! Then he thinks something is missing. "Oh Yeah!, I gotta name him! Hmmmm... what should I name him? What will Jay name his new Pokemon? Will he ever get to Pallet? A Pokemon Legend is about to begin! JAY Write notes: I'll be putting up a Writers guide in aproximately 2 weeks. more of this stuff is to come. This is only my first episode and I'd like to make it right. I've got about 20 more episodes and I'll release Three every 2 weeks on Saturday. If you like to arrange a co write, email me after I hit episode 20. I'm okay with losing, but not often and not badly. I gotta win a few ya' know.. I first wanted to do this when I saw Trunks versus Mecha-Ryu or something.. Personal note: I think Vegeta rocks!
