"Time you were setting off on your Pokémon jorney. Professor Oak wants to see you in one hour. So get up." Spike rolled out of bed and slipped into black trakkies and an orange t-shirt. He marched downstairs to eat his breakfast where he was greeted by a his bulbasaur, Kutter. "Are you hungry ?" Bulba bulba" Here you go" Spike said as he gave Kutter some specially made food by the local breeder. "Bulbasaur" Kutter said with satisfaction. After finishing his bowl of cereal, Spike brushed his teeth and grabbed his coat. He picked up two pokéballs. One contained Caterpie, the other was for Kutter. "Kutter return!" Spike placed his pokéballs in pouches inside his coat. "Bye mum, I'll missed you." Spike yelled as he wandered out of the door. "Bye honey, I love you, be careful" said his mother, with tears streaming down her cheeks. Spike was now walking through forestry.It was a glorious day. The sun shone through gaps in the dense trees and created a mystical atmosphere. It was a short walk to Pallet town and he soon arrived. He wandered towards Professor Oak's laborator were he was greeted by one of professor Oaks aides. "Come this way" the aide said, walking towards a patch of grass at the side of the building. "This is steve from Serren" the aide informed professor Oak. "I prefer to be know as Spike" Spike interrupted. "Very well then" the aide said in a snobbish tone, before stomping away. " Hello Spike, how kutter?" inquired professor Oak. "He's fine. Won't stop eating the lawn though. I've got another one now, Caterpie." " Lets have a look at them" Spike pulled his pokéballs from inside his jacket and threw them into the air. "Caterpie, Kutter, I choose you" After inspecting them prfessor Oak said "They are in top shape. I have a few things for you." Professor Oak picked up a bag that was on the floor beside him. "Take this. It's got a map, Pokéballs to capture more Pokémon with, potions and a book with all the gym leaders in." "Thanks," replied Spike. " Be careful Stev.......er I mean Spike. Call me If you need anything." "Sure will professor" Spike happily started walking north towards viridian with Kutter beside him. TBC. A bit boring but the first one always is. I'm looking for someone in the viridian forest area to battle. Also does anyone have a character called Neo. reply if there is one already.
