From: Meeko + Caterpie (Somethingortheother@pokemon.mail22.com) Subject: [PW!][CC2K] The Lost Members Return, Part I Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000/04/27 The Lost Members Return Part I Last time Meeko defeated a spoiled girl and three of her Pokémon had been following them, they then set off to Porta Vista to take care of the Rocket acting as Meeko and to finally be back with the group. The hot sun shone brightly on the group and a giant blue crab, a Kingler pulled their raft hard...but even he was tiring. " Water...so much water...and not a drop to drink." Meeko complained. Sinko had been fishing all day with a crud fishing pole, all he got were Magikarps... A weary Meowth kitten looked off in the distance...was that...IT WAS! He leapt out of Meeko arms and onto Kingler's shell. " MEOWTH!" he pointed a paw at the white speck in the distance, near some land! They were almost at Porta Vista! The tired crew leapt to their feet. Meeko and Sinko gave each other a quick hug of joy. But theirr joy ended quickly as a snake-like form broke out of the water. " Graaaawwww!!!!" the blue serpent challenged. Yarns quickly dove back to Meeko and Jigglypuff hid it's face. But the Gyrados wasn't interested in any of them. It wanted crab meat. It pulled it's head back and lunged at Kingler! They both disappeared under the water. " Kingler!" Meeko cried out and ran over to the edge of the raft. The Gyrados broke through the water right in front of Meeko, with Kingler clamped onto it's neck with his pincers! " Yeah! Go Kingler!" Meeko raised a fist in the air. Although the blue crab hung on tightly, the serpent shook his head hard, the crab flew off, a bit of Gyrados skin in his pincer. The wound bleed a deep red and it oozed out of the wound. By now the dragon was pissed. He glared at Meeko and Sinko with a deep rage. Ideas flashed by the young Meowth's mind quickly, he had to save his mother. " Stay behind me." Meeko told Yarns as she blocked the Gyrados from getting at him, but that wouldn't do, he leapt onto Meeko's shoulder, and from there, up onto the Gyrados' face. " MEEEEEEEEEOOOOOOOOWWWWWWWWTHHHHHH!!!" he screamed before releasing a powerful blast of electricity, a Thunderbolt! " How...how did he do that?" Sinko asked. Meeko blinked. " I...don't know." The Gyrados roared in pain before toppling over. Waves crashed onto the little raft knocking them all offboard! " Jiggly jiggly, jigglypuff!" Jigglypuff yelled out in a squeaky voice, and flailing her arms to no avail. A blue shell broke the water, Kingler! Yarns rode on his back and Jigglypuff climbed on. Meeko's head bobbed out of the water and she gasped for air. She grabbed a hold of Kingler and they searched for Sinko. Caught underneath the raft Sinko pulled himself out from under before he drowned... Sinko's head popped out from nearby the raft. Kingler swam over and Meeko, Yarns, and Jigglypuff collapsed onto it before Kingler started pulling them to Porta Vista. It took them most of the day but they made it. Kingler hauled the raft and crew onto the shore before falling forward into the sand, his eyes slowly shut. Meeko cried out and ran over quickly. " KINGLER! KINGLER! SPEAK TO ME!" she shook the giant crab, but nothing happened. " Me...owth?" Yarns said as he sat down next to her as she weep.
