From: Dreadite (dreadite@tsoft.com) Subject: [PW!] To face your fears Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000/04/12 P:OTP: Dreadite and Trent met up.. showdown time! Trent and Dreadite stood on the deck of the SS Anne, the pitch black of the night lit only bt the small lanterns on the railings, giving the ship a dull glow. Dreadite and Trent circled, each holding their blade with an anticipation for the opponent's move, and the patience to wait for it. They stepped lightly, closer and closer to each other, the look in each's eyes reflecting their intentions. Trent had a look of firey revenge... Dreadite's eyes were gold and dull, with no motive to be seen. The silence of the posturing phase went by with the clash of metal as Dreadite took his blade up, twirled, and smashed a lantern, his sword govered with buring oil, he brought it back towards Trent's face. Trent slid under the strike, throwing his sword upward at Dreadite's face. Dreadite moved his head a fraction of an inch, the sword grazing harmlessly by. Dreadite kicked Trent in the chest, causing the bounty hunter to clutch his chest. Dreadite knelt down next to Trent, and picked him up by the neck. "Are you truely so suicidal to attack me again?" Dreadite asked, glaring into Trent's eyes. Trent glared back, and shrugged. Dreadite tossed Trent to the side, and started to walk away, leaving the bounty hunter with his thoughts. The dark Rocket's footsteps disapeared into the darkness, the lanterns blowing out as the form passed them. Trent got up into his knees, and looked around in the darkness. "Dammit! DAMMIT!" Dreadite's voice echoed into the air. "Fool... you have no hope of defeating your fears if you continue to be afraid. You cannot defeat me like that." Trent stood up, and brushed himself off. He reached down, and picked up his sword. "Next time..." TBC? --Dreadite
