Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon Date: 2000/03/15 Last time on PW!: Tyger met his 'brother' Ryo in battle after getting trampled by a herd of Eevee, and, after being summarily beaten, was awakened to the sight of a Zapdos feather drifting right into his hand, which he now has tied into a small braid on the side of his face. And now, back to the show!~~~ Tyger wandered the city of Celadon, talking with Nutso, and neither of them realized they were being followed by a small form... "So, that was your brother? He has powerful pokémon. Even I couldn't beat that Abra" "Yeah, Mom and Dad told me he was with Team Rocket, and from what I saw, they weren't kidding. I can train you, help you get good enough to win, if you'll trust me...and not try to control me again" Nutso thought for a moment, but was distracted as a wonderful smell reached their noses. They turned to look, and they were standing in front of a Gym surrounded by flowers and Plant pokémon. "What is this place?" asked Nutso. "This must be Celadon City Gym. If I remember, the Head Trainer is Erika, and she specializes in plant types" Together, the two went inside to look around. Inside several junior trainers were tending to a variety of plant pokémon, from Bellsprouts to Weepingbells. Nutso floated off to talk to an Exeggucte, while Tyger went off to search for Erika herself. Near the center of the Gym, Erika sat watering her Gloom, and Tyger slowly approached, finding himself smiling. Erika looked up at him. "Can I help you? You don't look like a plant trainer, so I must assume you're here for a Badge. Am I correct?" Tyger nodded shyly. "Yes, but may I first compliment your technique? I've never known anyone to be able to handle a Gloom so easily before" Erika chuckled, "Its all in becoming friends with your pokémon, as I can see you already understand. Not just anyone can train a Ghastly" Tyger, confused, turned around, and facefaulted at the sight of Nutso right there in his face. Nutso floated down and Licked him awake. Tyger shook his head and sat down, talking to Erika for awhile ********************************************************** ********* "...and thats how Aussie and I first met" said Tyger, patting the Marowak's head... Erika laughed, her face like the sunshine which helped her pokémon grow. "Well, you certainly have a way with your pokémon. Mystery there seems quite attached to you, just like Gloom here does to me. They seem to be getting along beautifully," she said, looking at the two conversing in the grass. Tyger looked over at them, then to Splash and Erika's Tangela, and again to Slither and her Weepingbell. "It seems like we've got a lot in common. To tell the trith, I really want to be a pokémon Doctor. I don't like seeing pokémon hurt, so I really prefer not to fight unless I have to" Erika nodded. "Yes, but to enter school for pokémon medicine, you have to quilify for the pokémon League. So you need to battle all of the Gym leaders for our Badges. You've proven to me your worth as a Trainer, so I present to you a Rainbow Badge, and may you realize your dream." Tyger smiled, accepting Erika's gift, and turned to call his pokémon back, but was surprised to have an Eevee jump onto his lap... TBC So, Tyger has a Rainbow Badge and an Eevee, what'll he do next?
