He reaches into his backpack and pulls out his computer. <<What are you doing?>> Raffy asked, watching Bob push buttons. "Well, I want to know if I have to catch one pokemon or two tonight." Bob replied, staring at the screen. A screen comes up displaying all of Bob's pokemon. "Only need the Spinarak, but it has to be a female." <<Oh, and how are you supposed to know the differnce?>> was Raffy's rather sarcastic question? "Well, my mother told me once that Kurt's Love Ball works best on pokemon of the opposite gender. But, if that fails, I could always try that TM45 that Whitney gave me. If I remember right, that's Attract, Whitney's trademark move." Bob explains while still pushing buttons on his computer. <<I had to ask...>> A cute little Spinarak interrupted their conversation. Bob thought about this for a couple of seconds, and sent out his Butterfree. The cute little Spinarak started shooting out String Shot like there was no tomorrow. "Butterfree, Confusion." The String Shot stopped and went straight back at the Spinarak. Bob threw a pokeball at it, but it was still able to swat it away. <<Spunky little thing, ain't it?>> "Ya, I kind of see that Raffy." Bob turns to Butterfree. "Use your Sleep Powder." Butterfree flew by the Spinarak, sprinkling dust and the Spinarak fell asleep. Bob's second attempt at capturing the pokemon worked. The pokeball wobbled and bobbled for about 3 seconds, then stopped, sealing the Spinarak inside. Bob picked it up and it transported out of there, because he can only have 6 pokemon with him at a time. The next morning, Bob repeated the same process, catching a Ledyba. Being very satisfied, Bob started walking toward Goldenrod City on his way home. He walks through the gatehouse, but instead of the normal gatekeeper, there's a Team Rocket guy there, but Bob really didn't notice, and neither did the Team Rocket gatekeeper. Bob walked down the street when it suddenly hit him. The gatekeepers outside the city never wore black before. Then, it happened. TBC
