"That explains the familiar sensation." Drake said as he grabbed Memuyo and put the Meowth on top of his head
while seemingly almost in a trance.
Flying off his de facto perch, Drake began to glow. His shape became indistinct and started to grow much
larger. Once it had become somewhat larger than Doppler the shape resolved itself into a much larger version
of his normal form. Needless to say, this was about as far from a soothing experience for the locals as one
could get. Much more realistic versions of images of rubber-suit creatures falling on model buildings were
going through the minds of many locals. A couple of the younger inhabitants of the city thought the images
were really cool, but they were in the definite minority.
"Now, mister, I don't know who you think you're impressing, but I was taking care of you when you were a nice
little baby blob." to everyone who could hear, Drake's admonishment almost sounded like a mother scolding her
child. Virtually everyone who could see and hear what had just been said, sweatdropped and more than a few,
including the three nearest to the pair of over-sized pokemon seemed a bit confused.
More sweatdrops appeared with Drake's continued speech. "Your brother was nearly out of his mind with grief
when you disappeared into the crowd at that concert. And now you're doing this. Don't you think that it was
enough for one day between those two trainers and their pokemon, then what Mimic and I did?"
Finally seeming to catch exactly what he was saying, the Dragonite cleared his throat. "If you'll return to
the form that you were in before, I'll tell you what I know."
Not voicing his thoughts for the moment, Doppler resumed the form of Dee amid the glow of transformation.
Drake also transformed, returning to his normal form. The Dragonite then picked Memuyo, whose form was rigid
with fright, off of his head. "Why don't we go into the Pokemon Center for some privacy? We don't need to
share our discussions with everyone in the city." Drake suggested as he turned his head to take in the others
with Dee, only a tiny bit of surprise registering on his features as he did so.

I take it that means us really old timers are disqualified?
