Such love...such devotion...Doppler had not felt this level even for Minax, or for Marcia. He quickly decided it could make a useful cover, while he investigated to see who it was that seemed so familiar, and if the traces of Mimic's scent meant that one of them knew where his brother was... > Uh oh, Sarah thought as Splash hugged her. I may be in trouble here. She thought this even moreso when the door banged open and a woman with a disapproving smile walked in. "Ahem." Splash was so busy hugging Sarah, he did not at first take notice of the newcomer. Sarah's shyness paired with difficulty breathing as Splash squeezed harder to keep her from speaking. "*Why* are you hugging that...common girl?" Splash froze. The voice...he would never forget the voice. Slowly, he released Sarah and turned around, then froze in utter disbelief. "It's been a while," the intruding woman purred. "Miss me?" Sarah blinked, then looked to Splash. "Do you know her?" 'Murasaki''s smile tensed a little, with the hope that the disguise pulled straight from Splash's mind would work. And wonder, if the real Murasaki were to show up, if Splash might not choose the woman of his dreams over the real thing anyway. TBC?
