Soon, everyone arrives at the fourth floor, the putrid-smelling room full of half-naked corpses. Immediately, almost everyone begins to search the room for clues and perhaps any prizes that were not found earlier. Splash is searching for Murasaki instead and the Elder Sage is just standing there, keeping an eye on people to make sure no one is there to hide evidence instead of find it. Travis, one of the people who witnessed the death of Doppler, sighs while he looks behind the corpses that moments ago he was searching for prizes and says, "This would be a whole lot easier if Doppler left a corpse, but he just melted down into a puddle, bubbled for a little while, and fizzled out of existence. It's like the effects of cartoon-killing 'dip', but that's fictional..." "But apparently Ditto-B-Gone isn't." Marcia says, holding up an opened, empty can she just found behind a corpse that has the word 'Ditto-B-Gone' on its label. She turns the can around to read the list of ingredients, "...the main ingredient is salt. I can't even make out the names of some of poisons listed after that." Enimuram speaks up, "Found that weapon pretty quickly, didn't you? I bet it has your fingerprints all over it..." "Of course it does." Andy comments, "She's holding it right now." "I know." Enimuram explains, "But if her fingerprints are the ONLY ones on it, that means she used it earlier." Nori looks down at her gloves, then shrugs, "Not if the person who used it earlier was wearing gloves..." She then realizes that what she just said could be taken the wrong way, so she sweatdrops, "Er, which is not to say that I used it. In fact, I think Minax is the most likely suspect. I've seen her work before. Poor Fearow..." "I wish people would stop calling me Minax. My name's Marcia now..." Marcia narrows her eyes, just as Mimic snatches away the can with a gloved hand to examine it with his other hand, which he has Transformed back into a microscope. Marcia crosses her arms and nonchalantly waits for Mimic's analysis. "I found a clue!" Lynkeru exclaims, holding up a black and red card over her head. The small twinkling being floating over her shoulder begins to make some noises, but Lynkeru interrupts her, "I know it's a card..." Indi makes another comment that only Lynkeru can understand. Lynkeru replies, "Okay, THAT I didn't know." "What is it?" Yolei and Yuki both ask at the same time. Lynkeru, Marcia, and Ted reply at the same time, "It's a Rocket Card." Splash asks, "Murasaki's card?" Marcia walks over to Lynkeru, wondering why the strange little girl is still holding the Rocket Card over her head with both of her hands, and snatches it away. She pulls out her old Communicator from its sack and says, "I had this converted into a Pokegear, but it retained some of its old functions, including the ability to read Rocket Card information." She slides the card through a slot on the rectangular device, waits a moment, then says, "This card belongs to Ted Brotlov. Who's that?" "Ted's here?" Enimuram asks, then turns around to see the bald Team Rocket member standing right behind him. He slaps his own forehead and remarks, "Of course Ted's here. I should've figured you'd make your obligatory appearance here, just like you do in almost every situation Andy and I get ourselves into." Andy turns to see Ted standing behind him, now with a confused expression on his face. The Electabuzz standing next to Ted also looks confused. Andy asks, "So, you're the one who killed Doppler, huh?" "What? NO!" Ted searches through his pockets, "I am missing my Rocket Card, though... it must've fallen out of my pockets somehow." Cyclonus the Electabuzz nudges Ted a few times, making some grunting noises. Ted turns to his partner, "WHAT? I wasn't the one who killed Doppler! I don't have anything to hide!" Cyclonus rolls his eyes and blurts out, "Being a member of Team Rocket is a crime too!" Ted's eyes open wide, "Ohhhhh... right. In that case, I'm not a Rocket." Mimic looks up from his microscope-shaped hand, walks over to Ted, and uses his keen eyesight to examine the shape of the curves on Ted's thumb, "Marcia's finger print on can. Ted's too. That all Mimic find. Ted care explain why print found on can?" "Ohhh yeah... During the scavenger hunt, someone asked me to hold their drink for them." Ted explains, "I thought it was a Poke-cola or something... It was dark so I didn't see who it was that handed me the can. Could've been just about anyone..." Everyone stares at Ted in disbelief, so once again, he asks, "WHAT?!" Marcia twirls Ted's Rocket Card around, "You know, those are some of the lamest excuses I've ever heard. Does anyone here actually think that Ted's innocent?" -Marcia
