[Darn it, I wanted to make a remark about that next time Hito was in a
Pokecenter...]
>Stone, the Sudowoodo, waits for the weather forecast to show up on his screen, then
>he points at an image of clouds, "Tonight it will be partly cloudy and humid..."
>When he moves his branch-like arm to the next image on the screen, his eyes widen
>and he freaks out, "AHHHH! THERE'LL BE RAIN TOMORROW! I HATE RAIN! Everyone,
>whatever you do, don't leave your homes! There will be light drizzling in the

>I'd pack up my bags leave the city tonight if I were you, since there might
>be up to HALF AN INCH of rainfall! WE'RE ALL GOING TO..."

>Marcia finally changes the channel with her remote. While she flips through
>other channels, she wonders if Splash, who is in the back room, has woken up yet.
Flicking the remote, Marcia lets the television settle on a trashy soap opera,
All My Pokemon, and settles in to watch. There is, after all, nothing else on
TV at the time.
Onscreen, a couple was having a fight. "I want to be a Pokemon trainer!" Red
cried out to the woman in front of him, as tears streamed down her face.
"But what about our Lapras?" Ako wailed. "Lapras needs you! I need you!"
"I don't care about Lapras!" Red replied coldly. "He's your Pokemon anyway. And
I need to do this. I have to. I'm sorry, but I'm leaving PokeValley. Goodbye."
With those words, Red left the room, leaving Ako alone.
The scene changed next to Yellow and Mr. Mime, in bed, their bodies hidden by
the sheets on the bed, only their shoulders and up visible. "That was
wonderful," Mr. Mime said as he gazed lovingly at the Pokemon to his left.
"Mr. Mime," Yellow said returning Mr. Mime's gaze as swing music played in the
background.
Shuddering, Marcia turned off the television. Soap operas had reached a new low
if they were pairing humans and Pokemon as love interests.
Nurse Joy's shift had been over for a while, and the nurse had gone into one of
the many back rooms to get some sleep, leaving Marcia to watch the center while
she was gone.
Looking around, she saw no one in desperate need of help, so she figured that
she could spare a moment to run in and see if Splash had woken up yet. After
what Mrs. Psychic did to him, would he wake up normal? Or would he be the same
crazy person who confused her for Murasaki?
Slowly opening the door a crack, she peered into the room. When she saw that
Splash was awake and sitting up, she opened the door fully and entered the
room.
"Murasaki!" Splash cried out happily, dashing any hope that Marcia may or may
not have had that Splash would be normal again and would know who she really
was.
"I'm not Murasaki, Splash," Marcia sighed as she walked over to him. She then
proceeded to do the only thing she knew how to do to make him recognize who he
was.
"Minax!" Splash cried out, leaning over on the cot he was on and squeezing her
in a tight hug. "I missed you! Can you use the Murasaki Finder to tell me where
she is?"
