Weird.] Yolei slumped in her chair, staring at her breakfast. "Ugh," she said. "What's wrong?" Lynkeru asked. "I lost my appetite," Yolei said. "I just can't eat after seeing what Mimic did..." "Worried, huh?" Mamoru said. "Don't be. I'm sure he'll be fine." "It's not that," Yolei said. "I'm just nauseas. When I think of all the bloo-" She stopped in mid-sentence as her stomach churned. She involuntarily swallowed in an attempt to keep the muscles in her throat from moving the opposite direction. She let out a small grunt and swallowed again. Nurse Joy immediately rushed to her side. "Here," Joy said, handing Yolei the nearest glass. "Drink this. Slowly." "Uh, that was mine," Lynkeru pointed out as Yolei slowly chugged away at the drink. "Oh, sorry," Nurse Joy apologized. "I'll get you another one." Yolei finished the drink and set it down. "You should get some rest," Nurse Joy suggested. "You don't look so well." "Yeah," agreed Yolei. "I'm not feeling so hot." Suddenly, the device on Yolei's wrist beeped. "Isn't that your PokeGear?" Drake asked. Yolei pressed a button on her PokeGear and it projected a holographic display. "It's the Unown Radar," Yolei explained. "It was picking up some strange readings in Ilex Forest, but it's gone now. Wait, it's found something else now..." With a few presses of a button, a map image changed from the general area around Azalea Town to section of town around the Pokemon Center. "This is us, here," Yolei said, indicating the blinking dot in the middle of the image. "Looks like there's another shiny Unown just down the street in... that direction." Everyone looked out the picture window that Yolei was pointing to and leaned to the side a bit to see what was down there. "The Pokemon Gym," Mamoru said. "How convenient." "Let's go!" Lynkeru said, getting out of her chair. "Check, please," Drake requested. "Can I get this in a doggie bag?" Yolei asked. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ A 15% tip and a short jog later, the six of them (including Indi he Fairy and Memuyo the Meowth) stood outside the Azalea Town Pokemon gym. "With that big battle outside this morning, I almost forgot that we hadn't gone to the gym yet," Yolei said. "Well, we're here now so let's get to it," Mamoru said. The inside of the gym was like a green house that had been overgrown with plants. At it's center was a small tree, and next to the tree was a blue-haired boy with a butterfly net. He was talking with another boy who had a Cubone next to him. "Ground-types aren't really my specialty," the blue-haired boy said. "But I think he'll grow out of it. Just let him keep it for a while and maybe he' ll lose interest in it. I wouldn't think it'd be as effective as a bone club in battle." The other boy sighed and said, "Thanks anyway, Bugsy." "That's Bugsy, the gym leader?" Yolei noted. "Yep," Mamoru said. "You got a fix on that Shiny?" "Huh? Oh, yeah," Yolei replied. She pressed a button on her PokeGear. "It's... Moving right towards us..." "Excuse me," the boy with the Cubone said. "Oh, oops," Yolei said. Everyone moved out of the way so the boy and his Cubone could pass through the front door. After the door closed again, Yolei looked at her PokeGear. "He has it on him!" she exclaimed. "His Pokemon has it," Lynkeru said. "Didn't you notice when they passed by? It was carrying the Unown in its hand." "Maybe we should go after him," Drake suggested. "Maybe, but we're already here at the gym," Yolei said. "I've got him on radar, so finding him again couldn't be too hard. Maybe we should challenge Bugsy first?" To Be Continued...
