The fisherman regarded the Dragonite suspiciously. ?Why?? ?I want to check out an idea,? the Dragon pokemon told the man ?especially after getting teleported by that Unown.? A response tumbled around inside the fisherman?s head, but it was lost amidst the growing formation of a thought that he was trying to comprehend. The thought was lost when his brain latched onto the feeling growing out the thought. That growth was a (copyright by Lucasfilm) bad feeling about this. He then bent down and opened up the fishing basket containing all the occupied pokeballs. Yolei noticed the activity and walked the few steps needed to make that she didn?t have to shout. ?What?s going on?? ?We?re checking a suspicion of mine.? Drake answered while keeping his attention on the fisherman, who had just pulled out the first pokeball. The fisherman opened the pokeball and nothing came out. ?B-but, that was-? ?Try another one.? Drake suggested. By this time, Yuki had also taken the few short steps to get a good view of the situation. The fisherman pulled out another pokeball and opened it. Again nothing came out. The fisherman grabbed another pokeball and repeated the process, with the same results. Frantically, the fisherman continued to repeat his actions with the same result for each pokeball that he opened up. ?So, were they all teleported away when Lynkeru got the Unown?? Drake wondered aloud. ?I think they were probably just illusions.? Yolei said ?I don?t think this guy could have pokemon powerful enough to help him catch Lugia even once, much less three times.? Yuki put in ?Unless he happened to be borrowing the Legendary Birds at the time, I agree. While teleporting things a short distance wouldn?t be too tiring for a Psychic pokemon, creating the illusion of one would be a lot easier for it than teleporting things from long distances.? Everyone blinked and looked at Yuki. She sweatdropped and quickly said ?Well, I don?t think we?ll find out anymore about it here. Why don?t we just get going to Azalea and investigate that Unown when we get there.? Yuki quickly started walking towards their destination again. The stiff breeze caused by her quick passage startled Lynkeru out of a deep discussion with Indi over the fundamental differences in control of movement between their homeland and here. Drake and Yolei walked up to Lynkeru and she asked ?What caused that?? ?Yuki made a comment about Psychic pokemon with teleportation and illusions.? Yolei started by way of explanation. ?It showed a depth of knowledge about the subject that only someone who had extensive experience or research in the subject would know, so we looked at her a little strange. That?s when she made some excuse and started off.? Checking her equipment over, Lynkeru asked ?Should we try to find out why she?s acting this way when we catch up to her?? Drake shook his head. ?I don?t think so. It?s probably nothing that?s going to cause us any trouble, so it can wait until she?s ready to tell us.? The others sprinted to catch up to Yuki, finally catching her within sight of the end of the boardwalk. They then caught sight of Memuyo waiting for them a few feet off the boardwalk. The Meowth seemed to be waiting impatiently for them, despite having taken the longer path in order to avoid travelling over the water. The rest of the trip to Union Cave consisted of an argument between Drake and Memuyo. The others could really only understand Drake, but were able to gather that the conversation consisted of various complaints from Memuyo about how long everyone took to get to the end of the boardwalk.
