Pardon me... Merry Christmas!" He glances down at his Pokegear to see the time is 11:21 PM, then up at the Magnet Train parked ahead of him. "Oh man, I hope this Magnet Train really is as fast as I've heard it is." He pulls out the ticket he bought earlier today and shows it to the person guarding the entrance to the Train. Once he's been wished a Merry Christmas, Robert heads into the Magnet Train, takes a seat inside, and places his bag on his lap. "Merry Christmas," says a brown-haired blue-eyed girl sitting next to Robert on the Train, "What's in the bag?" "Gifts for my girlfriend, mom, and mentor." Robert smiles, "It took days of shopping, but I got each and every one of them what they really want for Christmas!" He glances over at the girl he's talking to and narrows one eye, "You look familiar." A man standing next to the last entrance to the Train that remains open shouts, "All aboard!" "...Robert, right?" The girl dressed in a green shirt, red pants, and brown boots chuckles and playfully punches him on his shoulder, "Ha-ha! You ARE Robert - the kid who doesn't know how to treat a lady. I haven't seen you in like six years." The open door of the Magnet Train slams shut and the Train starts with a jerk, knocking Robert's face onto the girl's. Seeing the girl's face up so close jogs Robert's memory. He quickly scoots away from her and exclaims, "Brooke!" "Another Christmas without your girlfriend?" Brooke smirks, and wraps one arm around Robert's back, "I'm starting to think you're just saying you have a girlfriend since you don't like me. Don't worry, Robert, I don't like you either." Robert grabs Brooke's hand and shoves it away, "Then don't touch me. I do have a girlfriend. Rilli's waiting for me at the Saffron City Magnet Train Station as we speak." He crosses his arms, hoping Brooke won't tease him anymore. There is about a minute of silence, but then Brooke grabs Robert's wrist and looks at his Pokegear, "It's 11:48 now. It looks like you're not gonna be home for Christmas, eh? You're gonna break your imaginary girlfriend's little heart." But right at that moment, as if to prove Brooke wrong, the Magnet Train comes to a halt at the Saffron City Magnet Train Station. Brooke then nudges Robert and winks, "Can I meet your girlfriend?" "No - you'd just cause trouble for me." Robert grabs his bag, hops out of his seat and runs out of the Magnet Train, into the Saffron City Station. He looks around, desperately seeking Rilli amongst the throng of people. After a few minutes of searching, he glances down at his Pokegear, sees that it's now 11:55 PM, and gasps, "If I don't see Rilli in five minutes, I'm gonna have to wish her a Happy Birthday instead of a Merry Christmas." Suddenly, someone kisses his cheek. He's pretty sure Rilli's the one who did, but fears she might not have made it and Brooke might've just kissed him, which would be bad.
