It tackled the pair, and sent them flying, to the far outreaches of an Unknown island inhabited by headhunters. Ny heaved a sigh of relief. She was happy that she wouldn't have to fight. "Thanks," Amber said to the little rat. It nodded and replied, "Rattata Rat Rat tata tat tat!" "Rattata says that Rattata will come whenever Amber and Ny are in trouble and help out," Nyara prompted. Sammy danced up and down with delight. "That was sooo cool!" she shrilled. Just then a PokéGear rang. Both Sammy and Amber fumbled for theirs. It was Sammy's. "Hello? Oh Hi, Ma! What? Grampa? But---Ok. Uh...you did WHAT?! I could've---! That was MY mon---huh? Oh fine. Bye." Amber looked at Sammy who sighed. "When we get to Cherrygrove I have to stay with grandpa. My stupid mother bought me some stupid Nintendo with MY hard earned money. What a jip." Amber sighed. They continued on to Cherrygrove with no further battles. When they arrived, Sammy ran up and hugged Mishitoni. "Hi Grampa!" she said. "Mom said I'm staying with you." Mishitoni nodded. "By the by, Amber," he called. "Thank you for everything!" Amber replied a 'you're welcome' and continued on her way. Ny smiled craftily by Amber's side. They finally ended up going North, on their way to the next city. "Ok, Ny. What're you hiding?" "Nyara discovered that Sammy left her Pokemon," she shrugged. She took a Pokeball from behind her back and released Sunshine the Natu. "Oh NO!" Amber cried. "Why didn't you give it back to her?!" Nyara shrugged. "Sunshine didn't want an owner like that. Sunshine wants an owner like you, who doesn't give him nickname like 'Woofy'." Amber took out her PokéGear and dialed Sammy. "Hello, Sammy? Nyara has your---oh. You knew? I can---really?! Thanks!!! And...what? A...in your PC? Ok, I'll get it. The password...thanks. Thank you Sammy!" She hung up and let out a large "WHOOP!" and turned back around into Cherrygrove. She scanned Sunshine into her Pokédex and re-named it Natu. Then she went into the Pokécenter and logged into the PC. She typed, "Sammy Cragon" and then an 8-character password. There was one Pokemon in her box. She withdrew it, and logged off. "YEAH!" she cried. Ny looked up at Amber. "What's all this about? Tell Ny or else, Amber!" Amber grinned. "Sammy let me keep Natu; and she gave me her Houndour!" Ny grinned too. "Ny has friends now?" "Yes, you have friends now!" Ny reached up to Amber's belt and released Natu and Houndour. Amber scanned Hounder's Pokéball and nicknamed it Darkfang. Natu chirped happily, and Houndour just snorted. "Ok, you two, you guys are coming with me!" Natu smiled in a "Natu-ish" sort of way, and hopped onto her head to play in her hair. Houndour yawned, stretched, and waited to start walking. All in all it was an eventful day; with two new Pokemon given to her and a friend gained, and a friend left behind. A rather annoying one at that. But what will happen next? Who knows! ~Amber---TBC
