He was saying goodbye to the only home he had ever known. Adonis and Koin also looked sad as they said goodbye to the other Pokemon in their own language. ?Good luck Alex,? One of the Dojo?s younger students waved to him. He nodded, and motioned for the two Pokemon to climb on. Adonis did so, but Koin refused to get on. Sighing, Alex recalled him back into his Pokeball. The bird took off, carrying its passengers high into the sky. Alex looked down, people now just tiny dots. He wasn?t used to flight, and he could feel the bile rise in his throat. Adonis chuckled as his friend and sparring partner leaned over, letting loose a stream of vomit that hit an unsuspecting traveler on the head. ?Machop, Machop!? Adonis laughed, holding his sides. Alex groaned, too airsick to say anything. He just hoped the Pidgeot landed soon. Meanwhile, an woman dressed as a pirate grinned as she saw the Pidgeot carrying Alex and Adonis fly by. ?So, another fool dares to trespass in my territory, eh? Well, he shall soon know the meaning of fear when he faces me!? Cackling madly, the woman raised a large bazooka, and aimed for the Pidgeot?s right wing. Once she had the target in sight, she fired, launching a Raichu from the bazooka. ?Raiiichu!? The electric rodent let loose a concentrated thunderbolt that fried the Pidgeot?s right wing in mid-flap, and sent it hurtling towards the ground. Both passengers jumped at the last minute, and miraculously landed on the ground with only minor bruises. Alex growled, looking at the oddly dressed woman. ?What?s your problem?? He stepped up to her, while Adonis and the Raichu tried to stare each other down. ?I am Red Star, owner of all I survey, including the sky. You and your Machop are trespassers, and must pay a fine for invading my territory.? Alex blinked, and walked past her. ?No,? he said, not even bothering to turn around and face her. Red Star?s face turned a deep red. ?How dare you defy me!? Alex sighed. ?Ok, if you want to do this the hard way...Adonis, toss her Raichu into the river.? Adonis nodded, grabbing the stunned Raichu and tossing her head first into the water. The angry mouse cursed in her native tongue, flipping the Machop off. Adonis growled at the insult, and leapt into the water, delivering a furious attack. Red Star screamed as she saw her Raichu getting beaten down so easily. ?Gigavolt, you idiot! Use your Thunderbolt attack on that muscle head!? Gigavolt leaped back a few feet, out of the water, and let a thunderbolt loose from her cheeks. Adonis jumped to leap out of harms way, but wasn?t fast enough, and was knocked clear out of the water by the attack. He twitched slightly, bruised but not down yet. Striking a pose, he motioned for his opponent to come and get him. With an angry shout, Gigavolt rushed forward, lowering her head. ?Adonis, Mega Punch!? Adonis pulled his left arm back, and changed energy into his fist. Just as Gigavolt was about to head butt him, the Machop let his arm fly forward, the Mega Punch attack sending Gigavolt flying backwards and into a tree, knocking her out cold. Adonis cheered at his victory, kissing his muscles. Red Star?s jaw dropped to the ground several feet. ?My prize Raichu! Beaten by that puny little punk!? Alex congratulated Adonis on his fight, and walked over to where the fallen Pidgeot had landed. ?Pid....geot.? It squawked meekly. There was no way it could fly. Grabbing the two way radio attached to its collar, Alex explained what happened. They said they would send someone to pick it up, but Alex would have to walk the rest of the way. ?Machop?? Adonis asked, pointing to the fallen Pidgeot. ?The Pidgeot can?t fly, so it looks like we?re walking the rest of the way.? Releasing Koin from his Pokeball, Alex began the path towards whatever city lay ahead of them. Meanwhile, Red Star growled, pulling her fainted Raichu from the tree. ?That little punk! How dare he insult me like that! I?ll get him back one day, I swear it!? She scurried away into the forest, laughing insanely. ?Meowth...? Koin poked Alex in the leg gently. Alex looked down to see him holding a wallet in his mouth. He frowned, but then realized it was Red Star?s wallet. Chuckling, he removed the cash from her wallet, placing it in his own. The extra $1500 would come in handy. After a few minutes of walking, Alex could see the outline of a few buildings. Running ahead, Koin saw a wooden sign that read ?Cerulean City - 1 mile?. Adonis and Alex caught up with him, only to have the Meowth race ahead, blowing them a raspberry as he did. Grinning, Adonis chased after the Meowth. Alex just shook his head, and followed behind.
