(OOC: Setting new standards in short...)
As Grendel the Aerodactyl departed Rosetta Town with Kyle and
Jessica, an almost invisible form rushed out from behind a rock on
Doctor Eckert's property to watch their departure. "Attacked by
Gyaradosss, indeed," the sibilant specter scoffed quietly to himself.
"Drowned himssself, ha! If they only knew the truth..." The ghostly
creature leapt clear over the fence on his way out of Doctor Eckert's
property, then promptly deactivated the personal cloaking device that
had given him his spectral protection, revealing himself to be
cyber-saur Panopticon. "A pity that I had to sssacrificcce young
Bombssshell in preparing that little sssurprissse for Kyle." He
sneered. "But you can't make an omelette without breaking a few
Chansssey...heh heh
heh..." His laughing continued for several seconds before he added,
"Oh, I can't wait until Kyle getsss home and findsss the other
sssurprissse I left him..."
He paused in contemplation. "I really ssshould thank Bill for all
the information he'sss sssupplied me with on Kyle thessse passst few
yearsss. Threaten Bill and he'll tell you nothing, but threaten hisss
family, and he'll sssqueal like a Ssswinub!" He paused to laugh a few
more times, then he looked proudly at the Oscar award for "Best
Performance by a Non-Human" attached to the electromagnet on his back.
"I'd alssso like to thank the Academy, my director Ssstevon
Ssschpielbunk, my Pokémon, K-Mart, and Goddisssh..." He thought back to
the Academy Awards four years ago. "Heh heh heh...Wilssson the
Volleyball never ssstood a chance."
He plucked one of the Pokéballs from the magnet on his back and
stared at it. "Hmmm...perhapsss I'll revisssit Sssilph for a tune-up.
I've been ssspouting too much exposssitory monologue lately..." He put
the Pokéball back and then started off on a long sprint to Saffron City.

"Your cavalier dismissal of mechanics shows
a commendable bravado, from a swashbuckling

it's a real problem." -My English teacher Mr.
