A Tauros and a Ninetales follow him all the way to Main Street, looking around at all the tall buildings. As they head down the street, headed towards the local Pokemon Center, the Ninetales asks him, "Didn't you say there were sideshows around here, Marvin? I haven't seen a single bearded lady since we arrived..." Marvin glances over at the Ninetales following her and comments, "Patience, Kitsu - the freaks only come out at sunset..." "Then what're *YOU* doing out at noon? You're the freakiest freak I've ever had the displeasure of meeting." An annoying female voice asks, and this time it isn't coming from Famifax, but from a bitter Smoochum sitting on the back of a Magcargo who's parked outside the Pokemon Center. She sneers at Marvin, "I was starting to think I had seen the last of you, since you've been gone for a week now. I was hoping your Octillery had strangled you to death or something like that..." "Gone for a week? You sure about that, Diva?" Marvin asks, then after the Smoochum rolls her eyes and nods exaggeratedly, Marvin furrows his brow and says, "But I only went to Maiden's Peak for a day, for the End of Summer Festival." One of the Ditto Marvin's holding, Xerox, says, "I am confused as well, master. I thought that time went slower here near the Ilex Forest, not over in Kanto." After a brief moment of contemplation, Marvin shrugs, "Oh well, to quote Famifax - 'whatever'." He walks past the rude Smoochum who's been competing with him ever since he moved to Goldenrod and heads into the Pokemon Center. Keaton the Tauros snorts at Diva, who is so intimidated that she orders her Magcargo to run away. Keaton then enters the Pokemon Center, followed by Kitsu the Ninetales, as the Magcargo the Smoochum is riding on begins to slowly head off, Diva hopping on him angrily since she wants the Snail Pokemon to move faster. "Yeah, three Ditto this time. I know it seems like I've got Ditto coming out the wazoo, but I assure you, my wazoo's just fine." Marvin smiles and winks at the Nurse Joy behind the counter, who smiles back and chuckles nervously. Holding Xerox, Famifax, and Mimic in her arms, she turns around and heads towards the back room. Hearing Kitsu and Keaton come in, Marvin gestures towards the two Pokemon who just entered, "Oh, and those two too." Nurse Joy snaps her fingers. "Huh?" Keaton asks, as a Chansey waddles over to where he and Kitsu are standing, responding to Nurse Joy's snapping. Once Nurse Joy has left into the back room, Marvin turns around and explains, "...back in Saffron, you two said you were sore. Nurse Joy can heal you right up!" Keaton the Tauros snorts and objects, "...but we're not Pokemon. We're humans." "Have you looked in a mirror recently?" Marvin asks at the same time that Kitsu remarks, "...didn't stop you from making out with a Pokemon." Marvin looks over at the clock on the wall, "The sideshows won't come out for another six hours, so while we're waiting for Mimic and the Ditto Sisters to be treated, so you might as well get healed yourselves. It should be an interesting new experience for you two!" Marvin flops down onto one of the couches in the Pokemon Center, and comments, "Not quite as comfy as my bean bag chair, but it'll have to do." He watches as Nurse Joy's Chansey leads Kitsu and Keaton into the back room. -Marvin
