Vince the Kid Part 2: Mysterious Pokemon Written by: SaFciOR "Vince, you should go now" Linda, Vince's mother said. "Don't you want to see my first own Pokemon? It's Poliwag! Look! Poliwag, go!" Poliwag came out of its Pokeball. "Poliwag, can you show us one of your attacks?" Vince was proud of his Pokemon. "Poleee" Poliwag cried. He opened his mouth and lots of little bubbles came out of it. "Vince! He is going to make all of the room wet! Stop him!" Vince's mother shouted. "Poliwag, stop!" The shout had no effect. "I told you to stop it! Why don't you want to obey me?" Poliwag stopped bubbling. "Polee-wag" was the only word he could say to apologize Vince and his mother. At least, Vince went out of his house. He wanted to visit Professor Oak to ask him about the way to the next Gym. "Don't you know?" Oak was surprised by Vince's question. "The nearest Gym is in Goldenrod, of course. But I think you are not ready to challenge the leader. First, you should train your Pokemon to make it stronger and catch other ones. You will be defeated if you go directly to the Gym. By the time you train your Pokemon, you should either face north and go to the National Park or go south and cut through Ilex Forest to Azalea Town. Before that, you should visit the Pokemon Center. I'll lead you to it." "Thanks, but I know the way. Goodbye, professor!" Vince went out. He decided to go south, along the Route 34. He walked quickly, because he wanted to get to Azalea Town before night. He stepped into a tall grass. He saw a wild Weedle. "Gotcha, I'll get you!" He whispered. "Poliwag, use the bubbles!" Poliwag immediately came out and threw bubbles towards the wild Weedle. But it was faster and quickly ran away. After a while, Vince saw something amusing. In the grass, a few meters away, a huge creature was just eating other Pokemon. Vince guessed it was a Pidgeot. "How could it kill a big bird like Pidgeot" Vince was wondering. Then, he looked at the Pokemon. It was all reddish with blue wings on its back. It looked like a dog, but it was too big to be a Growlithe, or even Arcanine. Vince took his Pokedex, but there was no data about the Pokemon. It looked like a fire Pokemon, so Vince thought that he could defeat it using Poliwag. "Poliwag, use bubbles again!" He whispered. His Poliwag ran towards the enemy and used the Bubble attack. The Pokemon interrupted his feast and threw Poliwag away with a single kick. "Waaaag!" Poliwag cried. Vince returned him. The wild Pokemon looked at him. Vince didn't feel safe anymore. He was scared with its size and he thought that it would attack. But it didn't. Instead of this, it quickly fled and hid in the grass...
