There were many new things to see everywhere. This trip was no exception. The tower was dim for the most part except for bright sunlight radiating in through sparsely placed, high windows. From where Jason was standing, he could see uncountable places where Gastly might be hiding. He seperated from Amber temporarily to look at the long pillar in the center of building. It disappeared through hole in the ceiling and floor, and didn't actually look to be connected to any part of the building. He reached out to touch it. It felt slightly cold, and gave off a certain vibration as if water was running through it. He ran his hand across the surface. Suddenly, he could hear a low rumbling sound, that got louder and louder, until the whole building was shaking slightly. He pulled his hand away and braced himself against a guard rail set against the hole that the pillar came up through. "I wouldn't do that again if I were you," said a short trainer wearing a down coat and snow pants. He patted the head of his Piloswine next to him. "The giant Bellsprout's very ticklish." He then trundled off before Jason could ask him anything else. Jason looked at the Bellsprout stalk, and then raced after Amber. ****************************** The two friends trundled up a circular staircase into another dimly lit corridor. These guys weren't high on variety in their architecture. In one direction, Jason saw an Alakazam standing on its head, but instead of the usual spoons, it held two forks in its toes. Its trainer was by its side, coaching it. "Use the forks, Duke." The Alakazam closed its eyes and the forks began to glow. A stone block resting next to the upside-down Alakazam began to vibrate faster and faster. With a grunt from the Alakazam, the block lifted up into the air, hovered there for a second then shot straight at Amber! "Amber, look out!" Jason sprinted forward, and tackled her around the waist. The block flew through the air where her head had been moments before, and lodged itseld firmly in the opposite wall. "Jason! What the hell are you doing?" Jason got up off the enraged Amber. "Well...I was...big block...and then..." "You could've injured Darkfang! He's already hurt you know, and he doesn't need your help!" Darkfang struggled in her arms. "I'm fine really! You can put me down now!" Amber ignored her Houndour's cries, and stomped away in a huff. Jason sighed, and followed her into the darkness. TBC...
