"I'm TRYING!" he howled. ~Two legs is slower than Nyara legs,~ Nyara remarked for the first time in a while. ~Thanks, Ny!~ she grinned. Suddenly she was on all fours, speeding past Fang and up the stairs until they were on the roof of the building. She slid to a halt and stood up, pointing at the giant Bellsprout head. "YOU!" she screamed. "YOU HAVE MY FRIEND! LET HIM GO!" Fang jumped ahead. "FLAMETHROWER THAT BELLSPROUT!" The Bellsprout swayed and Jason was brought up and used as a shield, or as much as the bellsprout could get as a shield. "NO! NO! FANG STOP!" Fang let out a trickle of fire by accident that was whisked away by the wind. Pocco suddenly jumped out of his bed in her hair and onto the Bellsprout. "No, Pocco, NO!" Pocco electricuted the Bellsprout with a Thunderjolt. The Bellsprout was hardly affected, but Jason was fried in the process. Jason started struggling harder and finally dipped down and grabbed a Pokeball. He dropped it and said, "Go Rivet!" Rivet came out and took battlestance. "Don't worry about me!" Jason yelled. "Flame this thing with all you got!" Rivet and Fang both took position and shot more and more fire and the Bellsprout when the priests reached the top. "No, you cannot do this!" one priest said. "STOPPIT! JASON NEEDS HELP!" Amber said furiously. The Priests edged away from her. A black aura surrounded her and she suddenly shot a Shadow Ball from her claw tips at the Bellsprout. "We have no choice," the priest who spoke downstairs said. Two priests grabbed Amber's arms, and when she struggled, they tripped her. "Let go of me! Jason needs help! JASON!" Rivet and Fang's mouths were bound shut with cord, and they bound Amber too, so she couldn't get up. "JASON!" she kept screaming. She didn't want anyone killed! Suddenly a man was at the door. "Stop!" he said. Bellsprout stopped raising Jason to its mouth, the priests stopped what they were doing and Amber stopped screaming. The man approached the giant bellsprout. "Bellsprout, put him down." The Bellsprout looked admiringly at the man and put Jason down. "Belllllsprout! [Cory!]" the Bellsprout boomed. "Now why didn't you wait until I brought you plant food? You can't eat any more trainers, ok?" "Bellsprout, sprout. [Ok, Cory.]" Jason ran over to Amber and untied her, Rivet and Fang. "Wait a minute, that Bellsprout is YOURS?" Amber asked, understanding the sprout's talk. "Yes. When I first started out, he was my first Pokemon," Cory started. "I gave him plant food and he grew really big, as you see. I couldn't travel with him, so I had the priests build a building around him to keep him from following me. Now i couldn't travel, because Bellsprout here wanted to see me everyday for more plant food." The priests started to bow down to Cory. He rolled his eyes as they chanted, "Hail the master of the Pokegod, Bellsprout!" "Guys I told you to stop it!" "The master wishes us to stop. So it shall be!" the head priest chanted. The stayed bowed with their heads down. "Thank you for getting me down," Jason said to Cory. "And thanks, Amber, for trying." Amber nodded and Fang trailed after them. They left the building and Jason said, "Sorry we couldn't get a Ghastly." "Oh! That's right! I did get one." "You did?" "Yeah right after you left." "Oh, cool! Let's hit the Center so you can fight Falkner." "Ok." So they hit the Pokemon Center and then they were on their way back to the Gym. Soon they were back in Falkner's field. "There you are again!" Falkner said. "Ready to lose again?" "Au Contrair," she retorted. "You will be the one to lose!" "Ha! THat's what you said last time! Go, PIDGEY!" Pidgey flew ahead and awaited the battle. "Go, Dipper!" Dipper the Gastly flew out to face Pidgey. "Pidgey, Mudslap!" "Dipper, dodge!" Pidgey furiously threw Mudslaps at Dipper, whom dodged every one of them. "Dipper! Hypnosis!" The Pidgey, hypnotised into a slumber, fell to the ground. "Dream Eater!" Dipper ate Pidgey's dream, draining it of its energy and feeding Dipper's. "Agh! PIdgey, return!" Falkner growled. "Go Pidgeotto!" Pidgeotto flew out. "Pidgeo-TO!" Dipper used hypnosis again, but it missed. "Try curse!" Dipper cursed Pidgeotto by cutting his HP. "Nightshade!" Dipper used Night Shade on the Pidgeotto, who skillfully dodged it, then winced at the Curses pain. "And Mudslap!" Pidgeotto Mudslapped Dipper until he finally fainted. "Agh, good job, Dipper! Go Pocco!" Pocco jumped out. "Thunderjolt it from the ground!" Pocco used Thunderjolt and it hit Pidgeottoe, using the last of its HP! "Return Pidgeotto. Good fight. Here!" Falkner threw a Zephyr Badge, another White Box with TM34 written on it, and an egg, this time marked with flames. "Good luck on your Journey!" yelled Falkner as they walked out. "Thanks!" TBC Anyone know what "Naka" means in japanese?
