Sarah doesn't notice Sylvester's Farfetch'd when he approach her since she's
been staring at the frail, barely conscious body of Jason Bard with her eyes
wide open ever since Amber explained what Jason had to do in order to escape
from Team Rocket's prison. Her eyes begin to water looking at his collapsed
chest.
Farfetch'd tries to get her attention by saying, "Fetch'd, far far?" When she
doesn't respond, he raises his green leek high using one wing, about to slam
it against one of her feet to get the stunned shepherdess' attention,
"Farfetch'd far!"
Barbie the Mareep is a little scared of the Farfetch'd, but she's not as
terrified as she is of most Pokemon because she has the Type advantage. When
she sees that the Bird Pokemon is about to hit Sarah, Barbie hops in front of
her trainer, electricity gathering on her fleece, puffing it up. She Growls
at the Farfetch'd, "Rrrreep!"
"Huh?" Sarah looks down at the two Pokemon in front of her as Farfetch'd
lowers his leek, "What's goin' on?"
Sylvester's Farfetch'd no longer wants to nor needs to attack Sarah. He
squints his eyes to look like an Abra, points his leek in many directions,
then says, "Far fetch'd farfetch'd!" He doesn't bother to check if Sarah gets
what he's saying and begins his search for the Abra who Sarah claimed to have
seen.
Sarah did understand that Farfetch'd was doing an Abra impression but didn't
figure out that he wanted her to help him find the Psychic Pokemon. Instead
of helping him, she walks over to Jason Bard, reluctantly followed by her
Mareep. She kneels down and puts her hand on his forehead, "A-are... a-are
you okay?" Suddenly, she gets pushed from behind, falling face-first onto
Jason's sunken stomach! Once close, she hears loud bubbling noises coming
from within. Disgusted, she sits up quickly and turns to face a prankster
Abra, the one who pushed her, sticking its tongue out again. She blurts out,
"Barbie, Thundershock this meanie!"
"Reeeep!" Barbie, who is right behind the now chuckling Abra, concentrates as
sparks fly from her increasingly fluffy fleece. She releases a Thundershock
attack...
...but Abra Teleports away just in time to avoid the attack and Barbie's
Thundershock continues past the place where the Abra was standing, hitting
Sarah instead!
Sarah's long blonde hair frizzes up and her white woolen shirt fluffs up once
she's hit. She rubs her head, woozy from the attack. When Barbie screams
"Eeeeeeep!", Sarah shakes her head and says, "Don't worry, Barbie... I'll be
all right..." She swings her legs to the side and lays down right next to
Jason to recover then whispers into Jason's ear, "I hope... I hope I didn't
h-hurt you when I f-fell on your stomach..." While looking up at the branches
looming above that block her view of the sky, Sarah wonders why the Abra is
being so mean. She asks no one in particular, "Is that Abra wild or has
someone taught it to play pranks?"
