Subject: [PW!] Anata no uta utau! [Sing your song!] Date: Tue, 17 Dec 2002 00:12:36 GMT From: "Amber Foxwing" <foxfire@c0x.net> Reply-To: "Amber Foxwing" <silverborne22@hotmail.com> Organization: Cox Communications Newsgroups: alt.games.nintendo.pokemon It had been a few days without their friends. They were still looking around Ecruteak, wondering whether to wait for said friends or not. They were still staying at the Pokemon Center. They were still being followed. And "they" were walking down the main street discussing the above dilemma. "So what do we do now?" Amber asked quietly. "They won't leave us alone!" "For once it's not you in trouble, it's me," Jason replied hurriedly. "Yes, but..." she trailed off as she glanced behind her. A group of girls was gathering, following the pair with lovestruck eyes. "...do you have to be so famous?!" "Not my choice," he grinned apologetically. "It's not my fault I'm so handsome either---" He laughed as she cocked an eyebrow. "And his ego grows another inch..." The girls tittered to themselves and giggled, when suddenly one shouted, "OH JASON WE LOVE YOU!" The whole herd of them reacted and suddenly went into full-tilt run after Jason. He cried out and sprinted away, laughing. Amber caught up easily in her Sneasel form. The girls, wanting to catch up, started throwing out pokeballs. Suddenly a hand grabbed his arm. He turned around and started as he stared a Hitmonchan in the eye. "Hitmon," it grunted. "Great job Ku-chan! Keep a hold of him!" a girl shouted from the crowd. A few other girls were approaching faster than others due to Pokemon transportation. They finally surrounded him as he tried to run away. Shouts of "CAN I HAVE YOUR AUTOGRAPH!?!" surrounded him as he was pinned against the wall by the gaggle of women screaming his name. He obliged and signed everything thrown at him with a sharpie a girl had handed to him. One girl got close and looked at him guilelessly. She said almost too quiet for him to hear over the crowd, "Mr. Bard, sir, would you please kiss me?" He blushed and clasped his hand behind his head. "Ah..." he said uncertainly, "I..." His male nature (OOC: This does not apply to all males, but most ;P) led him to decide. "Sure, why not," he said. Amber twitched. She cut into the crowd ignoring the hot-tempered looks from the girls. She got up between the girl and Jason and smiled sweetly. "I'm sorry everyone but Mr. Bard has to go. He has an APPOINTMENT." She snatched his arm and led him through the crowd. There was a groan of disappointment from the girls. The girl awaiting a kiss seemed to be devastated. The crowd dissipated shortly after the pair had departed. Jason looked at Amber to see if she was mad, but she didn't seem to be. "Er..." "Hmm?" she looked up, seemingly unaccusing. "Are you...angry?" She grinned. "Nope, not really. It was fun watching them try to take articles of clothing." "Oh." He paused, somewhat confused. Maybe she didn't hear what he had said. Perhaps he should keep it that way. Unable to think of a better way to change the topic, or at least punctuate it, he ruffled her hair playfully. She stuck out her tongue. "So..." she started as she placed her thoughts together. "I seem to remember SOMEONE wanting me to sing in a certain band. Can't say I remember who, though." She looked pointedly at him and he grinned. "So you've decided?" "Yeah, I guess." "Great!! We'll start right away!" He became excited that she would be learning how to sing and even more that he'd be teaching her. He began looking around. "Well, let me see this phone book." He grabbed one attached to a payphone and flipped through it quickly. He nodded. "Mm," he muttered. "I see." He put it down and turned to her. "We're going now!" "Going?" she said slightly alarmed. "Going where?" "Where it starts. To the karaoke bar!" He snatched her hand and began to run dragging her behind him. TBC
