(S'all right. If that's the worst that happens, count yourself lucky)
(Scyther: And this one's a Celtic Guardian, and this one's from Bebop.
This ones a Togepi, and that one is a Scizor. Can I go now?)
(*sigh*)
> "Oh yes. You can do it can't you?" Amber muttered as they arrived at the
> Haunted House (ghost types, ya know).
> "Uh uh I coulda sworn it was this way..." Jason said trying to get his
> bearings.
> "Well, twasn't now was it? If we walk away from it we're bound to find his
> house," Amber reasoned.
> "OOOH no! I am NOT gonna follow you again! You can't even follow a house!"
> "I can follow my nose."
> "And I'd say that's reliable considering her state," Jason laughed.
> "Yeeup, and I'll get us there!" She sniffed the air. "This way!"
> They rushed into the darkness.
Back at the real house, Jeff was still playing video games, this time, on the 1P
mode.
That left Bob with the task of either separating his brother from the game, or
feeding the nocturnal pokemon present.
'He ain't going to move so I'll just feed 'em myself' Bob thought as he put on a
dull-coloured jacket and left. Making his way to the birdhouses and trees, there
were quite a few happy Hoothoot and Noctowl. Moving to the freezer area made
for a few happy Sneasel. Finally the biggest, and scariest part of the run -- the
Haunted House, full of ghosties with a bad sense of humour
Opening the dor, Bob went in. For this part, he dragged Raffy along (literally).
The Girafarig was muttering sumething inaudible which is good because it wasn't
pleasant -- or decent. Walking slowly, as not to wake the sleeping critters in the
building, Bob came to the feding area. Filling the various troughs and bowls, he
finished the task at hand. All of a sudden, there was a loud shriek or two or three.
Rushing toward the sound, much to Raffy's annoyance, Bob was just about to
round the corner ...
----------
Around that corner, the gang were just scared sensless by a Haunter. It started
as the Haunter was tapping wach one on the shoulder. Amber wasn't paying much
attention as to what it was because she was following her nose. Jason and Vixxen
were just following. When the three turned around, the Haunter make a really
weird and funny face ...
... which made everyone shriek ...
... and got the Haunter Shadow Balled and zapped by many volts of electricity.
Turning around, they saw another shadow approaching. Automatically thinking
it was an enemy, Vixxen sent lightning down the hallway ...
----------
... when a lightning bolt came right at him and zapped him. Falling to one knee
fast,
he got into a defensive stance. That about neutralized any really harmful effects of
the
lightning. When Jason finally noticed who it was, everyone stopped.
"Oops" Vixxen said, a huge sweatdrop appearing
"Times like this makes me glad grass is resistant to electricity." Bob muttered to
himself.
"S'all right" he said out loud.
After much explaining and confusion, the group made it back to the main house. Raffy
went back to 'his little Arkie' as he put it, and a good time was had by all.
After a few minutes of vital discussion, it was decided that they'd all try their
luck at
the Goldenrod Gym tomorrow. Of course, during this conversation Vixxen snuck away
and it didn't take an Alakazam to figure out where she went.
"TV!" Was the happy cry. "NO! Laddy! Don't fall down the well!"
Bob, after leaving and coming back with food, heard the estatic cries from near the
television. "Oh no, it's ANOTHER Laddy marathon!"
