Marvin picks up two of the six Pokeballs lined up on the floor of his room in the Scarlet City Pokemon Center - the one storing the J-shaped Unown Xerox that caught for him and the one containing the the L-shaped Unown that Mimic gave him. He asks, "Where did you get these shoddy Pokeballs, anyway, Mimic?" "Pull from Mimic body, where Mimic keep." Mimic answers, "Marvin there. Forget already?" Marvin rephrases his question, "I mean where'd you get them from originally? If you got them all from the same place and these two just popped open like that without anyone pressing their buttons, are you sure it'll be safe for you to keep the shiny Unown in those other three?" "Mimic not get all Balls from same place." Mimic picks up two green Friend Balls from the floor, "Mimic got two Balls from Drake and two Balls from Kurt. Marvin remember Mimic say Drake gave Mimic four Unown? Kay and Ehl have two Balls Drake get in trade from gentle man. Two other Unown lack Balls at time since Drake crushed Balls in accident. Drake thought two Balls belong Aerie when found Aerie holding Sarah Balls against Sarah's will, so Drake crushed Balls. Before leave, Drake said sorry Drake crushed Sarah Balls. Mimic went see Kurt. Kurt make Sarah two new Balls and Mimic keep Balls for Sarah. Kurt good Ball-maker - Mimic not worry You or Sea pop out. Kay not threat if pop out." "I see!" Marvin exclaims before admitting, "... I think." He then asks, "But could you do me a favor?" Mimic asks, "What?" Marvin fidgets around in place as he makes his request, "Could you not use the term 'crushed balls' around me in the future? It makes me a little... uncomfortable." Both Mimic and Xerox sweatdrop as Mimic replies, "Mimic try." "Great!" The middle-aged man then offers Mimic the Pokeball containing the L-shaped Unown he received from the Ditto not too long ago, "Mimic, could you hold this Pokeball for me while I'm at the Coliseum watching today's matches? It's the one that used to tickle you to get you to laugh, so it won't be a threat if it pops out again today like it just now." Xerox probes, "Why are you reluctant to carry that particular Pokeball while you are inside the Coliseum, master?" "I'm scared that if a Whirl Cup Guard finds out I have seven Pokemon with me, he'll throw me in the little jail." Marvin explains, "It's illegal for someone to walk around with seven Pokemon on his or her team and I don't want to go to jail, regardless of the size!" Horizontal black lines appear over Xerox's small black eyes, "Master, you would only have six Pokemon with you at this time, including me. I imagine you are counting Famifax in your estimate, but she is not presently with us so she would not count towards your tally." "Hey, you're right! Nevermind, Mimic." Marvin stashes away the two Pokeballs he's holding in his tuxedo's jacket before picking up the dark green Park Ball on the floor and placing it in one of his many pockets. "But when we go back home to Goldenrod City, I'm leaving Jay's Pokeball at the apartment whenever I go out with you, Famifax, Exeggutor, Octillery, Fire Wand, and Tickler." "Tickler, eh?" Xerox inquires, "Did you just come up with that nickname right now?" "Yeah!" Marvin smiles at the name, thinking it's rather clever, "Like it?" Xerox shrugs one of her psuedopods, "I suppose you could have done much worse." She then addresses Mimic, "Master and I shall be going to the Coliseum now, to see today's matches, including the one your niece may or may not show up for. I am well aware that you are not fond of the sport of Pokemon battling. Neither am I, to be honest, but I am not opposed to watching it to keep my master company. Will you be joining us?" Marvin pulls his crystalline top hat off the room's night stand, puts it on, and comments, "I'm sure Xerox would love it if you joined us... She's been bored stiff the past three days. I've told her she doesn't have to come with me, but she insists, saying that she would feel horrible if something bad were to happen to me. I guess her worries weren't that unreasonable, considering what happened yesterday at the Coliseum while we were catching up with you." -Marvin
